It's becoming clear that relying on fossil fuels - oil, coal, gas - to power our increasingly industrialized world is no longer sustainable. Looking to promote alternative solutions to our sedentary car and gas-oriented society, Beat Gasoline is a cool new project from our partners at YouthNoise, a great engagement and activation organization working to create lasting change around the world by boosting the capacities of young leaders.

Beat Gasoline is looking for your videos and pictures showing how you are leaving the comfort of your couch behind to make a difference in the fight against climate change. So get out there and start filming!

Writer and adventurer Jon Bowermaster explores the world's oceans from the seat of a sea kayak. Used as both transportation and as floating ambassadors, sea kayaks allow Jon and his team of the world's best photographers, filmmakers, scientists and navigators - to reach corners of the world rarely seen. Tonight's new episode takes us to South America's Altiplano, the mountainous desert region crossing the borders of Chile, Argentina and Bolivia, looking for water in the driest place on earth.

An exciting new series on Link TV, Oceans 8 is an ongoing project from writer and adventurer Jon Bowermaster in which he explores the world's oceans from the seat of a sea kayak.
