The Global Spirit team has now moved into full fundraising mode, exploring foundations and individuals that might support the series as a whole, or particular programs.  We are looking for those supporters who believe this in-depth conversation about the "inner journey" of human consciousness and spirituality is of critical importance in these times.  We're finding that even though Global Spirit themes are popular, there isn't much spiritual conversation in the mainstream media. We are determined to continue creating important programming and web content, and hope that our viewers who already enjoy the show will continue having fascinating conversations on the Global Spirit website.

In the meantime, we'll be showcasing short video excerpts from the two new shows we've recently finished editing: "ONENESS: The Big Picture" (using segments from the documentary, ONE: The Movie), and the upcoming national premiere of the documentary, Sound of the Soul. The excerpts will appear on this website, as well as YouTube, in the near future. We'll update you on this blog and on Facebook when they become available, so keep your eyes open!

This coming week we'll be kicking off our first Music and Culture mini-pledge. Link will be spotlighting our movies, documentaries and world music blocks for the next month; it'll be a great lead-in to the *Big Holidays* and New Year's Eve. In addition to that, we have two new music blocks that are debuting, plus our "Best Videos Finds of 2008" program, AND two productions in affiliation with Amnesty International coming up: a very cool special called "Music for Human Rights", and our music video "The Price of Silence." Both productions will be streamed online, as well as broadcast.  You can see "The Price of Silence" starting Friday, December 5th, and on Tuesday, December 9th, you can download both the song and the video at iTunes. Once you see the video, I predict you will want to see and hear it again!
