As the current presidential campaigns come to a head at the Democratic and Republican conventions, the American people are demanding change. And it’s no wonder: gas prices are going through the roof, the economy is in turmoil, and we are slogging through the fifth year of a war-going-nowhere. With the emergence of the social sector, social and cultural change is being called for and demanded in every quarter of our society.
But how change takes place within the culture is rarely discussed, only that it needs to take place. What Change Looks Like is a look at who is effecting change in our communities, how they are going about it and how they might go about it with greater success. It is also a look at how change takes place and some of the people who will lead us forward.
With the world in an economic and environmental uproar, with wars and centuries-old hatreds bubbling and brewing, recognizing that we must change is the first step, but understanding how to make change happen is even more important.
Link TV brings you documentaries, films and music that are all about positive change! Between these films we are also presenting on the ground coverage from the Democratic National Convention.
