An inside look at the 2010 UN Climate Change Conference in Cancun, Mexico
Country leaders, negotiators and officials have been meeting since 1995 to find ways to reduce global warming and to cope with the effects of predicted temperature rise. Each year, rounds of preparatory talks culminate in an annual Conference of the Parties (COP) where attending participants work to devise a multilateral framework to combat climate change.
