As a member of Link TV, you receive member benefits and privileges, such as the ability to participate in lively conversations with viewers, journalists, staff, and filmmakers. These privileges can be revoked at any time for reasons stated on this page.

We favor constructive conversation at Link TV and would like discussion boards and comments on program pages and videos to allow for open debate. So we will be as hands-off as possible. But that means you are responsible for keeping the boards civil and respectful. And there are certain things that are just not allowed. Please click the “flag for review” button in case of offenses listed below.

Flaggable Offenses:

• Any harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libelous, hateful, or otherwise objectionable posts.
• Any posts that are invasive of another's privacy.
• Name calling or otherwise attacking a person posting rather than responding to the content of the post. Courteously stating your difference in opinion is encouraged as part of a lively debate, but please do not make things personal.
• Any racial or ethnic slurs or insults relating to the mental, physical or intellectual qualities of any member.
• Using the boards to advocate violence against others, even in jest.
• Promoting or instigating illegal activity from other users.
• Disruptive posts, i.e. repeatedly posting the same message over and over again or purposely posting entries with no relevance to the thread to drown out another poster.
• Repeatedly posting comments that are not relevent to the discussion.
• Spam

Failing to adhere to these policies may lead to the removal of comments or deletion of membership profile.

Also, please do not respond to abusive posts or otherwise engage an abusive poster. Simply report them using the “Flag” tool so that the appropriate action can be taken.

You are responsible for any activity that happens under your username. Thus, keep your password safe and secure.

We're asking you to step up and be accountable for your contributions to the site. So you're responsible for everything you post here. It must conform to all applicable laws, copyright and otherwise in the U.S. or your country of origin, and these laws supercede the Link TV "Community Standards" listed in this section.

And please remember, community members have the option to flag your posts if they believe they are inappropriate, disruptive, or offensive. Generally, we will give you a warning. But if your post, flagged by a community member or identified by Link TV staff, is in gross violation of our community standards, we reserve the right to remove you from the Link TV website community at any time.

MESSAGE BOARD AND COMMENT POSTING GUIDELINES:

• Differences of opinion are OK; personal attacks are not.
• Know when to move on. Please don't spam the boards with a single opinion in the hopes of bullying other people or "winning" a discussion. If necessary, you can draw attention to a post you've already made by linking across boards.
• Please search for existing threads before starting a new one.
• It is always a good idea to read through several threads to get a sense of the community before posting yourself.
• If you're responding to something you saw on air, please be specific about which program it was and the names of the any opinion-holders you are citing, if relevant.
• Please do not use all caps or excessive punctuation in thread titles.
• When relevant to the conversation, you can link to sites where you display other video and related work. But please don't spam the boards with your product or URL. This practice is sometimes known as astroturfing
• Please do not post the same thing in multiple areas; pick a spot and go with it.
• Please take warnings from our moderators seriously. Depending on the nature of the offense, Link TV reserves the right to remove offenders from the community, or in some cases, we may just offer a constructive warning. Repeat offenders may be banned based on the nature of the offense.
• Feel free to post links to video, and if approved we the Link TV moderator will embed in the page.
• We appreciate it when community members help us and report trolls, flame wars, and troublemakers. But remember: Your flags go to us, not to the offender. Please be specific about what you're flagging and do so responsibly.
