What should Americans think about as they vote in 2008?
In the last few years America's actions and waning economy have caused a shift in its global standing. But Americans want to heal the relationship between the United States and the world by giving voice to international concerns. The world's citizens in turn want to see an American government partnering with other countries to solve global issues such as terrorism, food shortages, the energy crisis, and pandemic diseases.
Whether you are from Kansas, Kenya or Kuala Lumpur, we wanted to know what you wanted Americans to think about as they cast their ballots in 2008. With the presidential election affecting people around the world, we felt that global voices as well as American opinions needed to be heard. See what people spoke to us about.

Community Guidelines
Dear American Voter sought your views and opinions on the international issues being touched on (or possibly ignored) in the 2008 U.S. presidential election. As a non-profit television station, Link TV is legally and rightfully barred from advocating for the election of a specific candidate.
These guidelines go hand in hand with our Terms of Use and should be read carefully. We don’t want to sound too forbidding, but we will remove content that does not adhere to these two sets of rules.
DO respect others
You know what that means. We are an international community and our members are from diverse cultures and have equally diverse views. We tolerate everything but intolerance (okay, and indecent exposure or spam)!
DO talk about the issues
We’re interested in hearing what you think about the issues, but telling users to vote for a specific candidate will kick us off the air. Please be judicious.
DO act sane and keep on topic
Come on, we all already know that aliens are poisoning the water supply to bring on Armageddon after destroying the twin towers while simultaneously infecting your children with a CIA-created illness. It comes as no surprise to us that both candidates are actually robots, either.
DON’T ramble. Seriously, keep it short, and by short we mean that 90 seconds is ideal and 5 minutes is acceptable but still mildly annoying.
DON’T directly endorse candidates. Just in case you didn’t already get that.
