Also...Barack Obama has the most left wing voting record in his 3 1/2 years as a U.S. senator. Let me put that into perspective.

Bernard Sanders is the junior U.S. senator from Vermont. He is in his first term as a senator, after serving eight terms as Vermont's lone at-large representative. He has done all of this as an "independent", with no party affiliation. Why? Because - his words - the Democrats are too conservative for him! He is an avowed socialist & Marxist.

And Barack Obama's voting record is more liberal than THAT.

Put that in your pipe & smoke it.

Well...first off, I must say that I'm disappointed that no Europeans responded (apparently). But having said that....

Thank you to those of you that responded.

I fail to see how questioning Obama's associations is dragging him through the dirt. While Farrakhan's is admittedly indirect, the associations as a whole, in my opinion, call his judgement into question. When his pastor of 16 years makes the statements he made, when a member of the Weather Underground ,who was unapologetic for bombing the Pentagon & only regrets not doing more along the same lines, gave him his start in politics...I really think we have to wonder, with these as friends, how he would confront radical world leaders who are our enemies.

Speaking of which, as far as other world leaders endorsing him...look at the rhetoric of Kim & Chavez over the years (remember Chavez at the UN?) (and for the record, it bothers me that G.W. is even bothering to give the time of day to Kim). And Ahmedinijad has pledged to "wipe Israel off the map" (his words) & has denied the holocaust.
