It's not the Religions that are to blame.
Religions are just recipe books,with ingredients and GUIDELINES ON HOW TO CREATE,put together a healthy,good,just and peaceful life.
A Religion is a set of tenets(stepping stones)only,and most of the tenets are left fairly open-ended to interpretation,and perspective of the reader.
The BLAME comes from the human,who so often uses,abuses,misinterprets Religious tenets to suit their own self-seeking,egoistic ends,whether that be political power,economic power,patriachal OR matriachal domination.It's the human creature who exploits the FEAR OF THE UNKNOWN after mortal life,because people fear the after-life so much,that they forget about concentrating on the PRESENT LIFE quality first.
It's the power and control of the 'FEAR OF THE OTHER SIDE OF THE CLOSED DOOR' syndrome.LOL! The 'fear' becomes greater than the fact,and a MORE useful weapon of control.
Religions are just control group entities with guidelines,ethics,morals,codes written down by members within that group who would be teachers/mentors to the rest.
If one believes in God,then he/she can try the different religions that believe in God,and find the 'recipe'which suits the personal soul and deep need of belief.
If not, then its OUR choice to move on to something else that suits the personal needs.Religion shouldn't be a prison or narrow tunnel,it should be free and open like the universe. But there are many humans within ANY religion who would HAVE it as a prison or SACRED ground that no other can walk on UNLESS they accept the 'ingredients' of that 'recipe'.
Religion is NOT the problem.It's the PEOPLE within the religions who would abuse it and use it as a weapon,RATHER THAN a universal medicine or uniter.
But at the end of the day,you could take the practise of religion away completely,and STILL lead,and HAVE FAITH IN,a GOOD,ETHICAL,MORAL,CARING,LEGAL,life based on instincts of what is GOOD and BAD,WRONG and RIGHT.
The soul is the link to all that,with or without Religion.

Religion is a personal 'recipe' choice.Something that one chooses,which opens the door to the spiritual soul,and emotions,that HOPEFULLY combines everything in a COMFORTABLE,NOURISHED,PEACEFUL WHOLE.
Personally,I don't care what religion a person is,or is NOT.
It's the ACTIONS/BEHAVIOURS/MOTIVES of a person that tells me more about their moral,ethical standing and whether they are inherently bad OR good.
Especially the way they treat,OR MISTREAT their fellow human beings and other creatures too.
I have seen the most pious people COMMIT the most heinous crimes, toward their fellow human beings.
I have seen those who follow NO RELIGION be the kindest and most humble humans towards ALL others.
Bullies are often the WEAKEST,most mentally screwed up ones,who envy others the most,but dare not admit it.But they are NOT to be feared or pitied either.

GUESS WHAT THEY ALL HAVE IN COMMON? THEY TREAT WOMEN AS INFERIOR BEINGS
WHEN ARE WE GOING TO GROW UP AND STOP THIS PRESUMPTUOUS MORONS AND SHOW THEM THAT WE ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BULLY OTHERS AND IT ALL STARTS AT HOME,BEFORE YOU FIGHT BATTLES OUT OF IT YOU NEED TO PRACTICE,GET READY IN YOUR OWN HOME

as usual,I lost it all,what i was trying to sey is that we need to fight to be able to have artistic freedom,even if his nose makes him byes Sandlers was probably just trying to s dramatize something that makes many very uncomfortable and yes the director is considered racist but if this is a big issue make a movie that makes you lough with the other point of you,could be a fun challenge,please remember freedom of speech goes both ways

Adam Sandler's Good Israeli, Bad Arabs it looks like an interesting freedom of expression movie I would like to see it for what I here

I went to fast and pressed the wrong button and bla bla,sorry about that,as usual,the opinionated me had strange encounters in life and a good acquaintance of mine was a professor at the University of the Vatican,he probably got his 5 degree by now, we often met and had interesting conversations over our espresso s,I explained to him how personally,for unusual past experiences believed in reincarnation and I had a very surprising insight,seems that,the majority of the Jesuits believe that as well, but they can t really talk about it, becouse it could create panic and the are still strong doubts and resistance from some, the majority of the Catholics are not ready to hear that yet,I wonder what the Pope thinks,it was all a lie who really knows the truth,I know I will find out one day I am just not in a hurry to have the absolute answer,so can we just all be open minded,we are using so little of our brain,we know so little of our own capacity s how can we be so sure of what happen after death,will I meet old loved friends and family members cats dogs ?will I become a tree,an other human or I finally learned enough that I won t need to be back here, feel totally safe and serene or will I be cooked in a flame environment Ouch I really don t want to know yet but I love exploring.If a God and a Goddess exist what happen to their plan,who would work so hard to make life to then work even harder to eliminated ?why are we killing in the name of that father that made as,how can that be logical,what happened to sharing,loving others as can we please press the forward button thank you and peace to all

I am great full,I respect other religions as long as it does not harm anybody.I hate to see it as a tool for personal gain,I think that it should be a guide for personal growth and as GR said life is always changing,never still,so how can the knowledge of thousand of years ago stay still,have You tried to say a story that somebody else wrote?does it stay exact word by word,sentence by sentence?so do we stay totally still and actually go backwards just because is the only way to protect family values even if not auars?
