I don't believe that the people who are pushing for revenge in the name of justice have any idea of the horrific consequences that would be unleashed in the event that any actual persecutions were to take place. There are other possible parallels between Obama and Lincoln that many may not be aware of.

Hey Ifticar, sorry for the late answer, and it is simple and clear, as I believe, We can NOT look for the future without understanding what happened in the past, and if during our search; in our past; found out about a crime, to ignore it because we need to "focus" on the "future", and the rosy days as Obama is "promising" in his "change" talk, and it is ONLY TALK, then we are participating in this CRIME" as well.
No revenge, only JUSTICE. One Iraqi Child SHOULD and IS enough to have these criminals prosecuted

I, like You, think that Obama is a good man and hopefully more prepared and more Intelligent as well, but I am sorry,I have been bullied at work for 3 years and to this day I see the perpetrators go on with their life wile I am struggling,it makes it really hard for me to be above it all so I am still thinking about legal actions against some and I did not have my family killed ,my hose bombed ,my child raped and I was not starving or with out water so,if I ,for something in relation so little, have a hard time moving on,don t You think that in order to ask for forgiveness to the rest of the world specially the Muslim world is the first step before we can actually move on ? I HOPE WE WILL HAVE LEADERS THAT HAVE ENOUGH BACK BONE AND ENOUGH HUMANITY TO APOLOGIZE FOR THE ATROCITIES THAT SOME HAVE CREATED,if You steal You go to jail,if You bit up Your spouse You go to hell but first You go to jail ,SO, IF THE WORLD WAS AGAINST THE INVASION OF IRAQ AND BUSH MADE THE CHOICE TO GO ANYWAY, WHAT MESSAGE IS THE WORLD GETTING FROM THIS?

I came here to find a discussion about the LinkTV campaign to persecute the Bush administration for policies and activities that have kept the homeland free from attacks for over 8 years.
I know the general hatred for Bush is huge but I still do not understand this need for revenge. Liberals are supposed to be the humane, understanding, let's all get along sort of people. This need for revenge is untypical and, quite frankly, ugly.
The leader you elected, Obama, has the common sense know that we should be looking forward not backward. Perhaps his common sense comes from the fact that he has seen the intelligence reports that we have not seen. Perhaps he really his one of theoretical liberals who is humane, understanding and wants everyone to just get along.
