I believe,it's not so much the racism that continues in the USA that the Pressie is concerned about with the WORLD Conference.
We know we are not post-racial yet,but going to the Conference would be SUCH a signal to all Americans,AND the world,that Obama is NOT SCARED to go and meet the debate and critisms,so WE CAN CHANGE our policies and WAYS.
But,he also knows,that WE HAVE NO valid justifications for many of our present foreign/domestic policies and ACTIONS(especially over the filthy Bush/Clinton/Bush decades),or when it comes to UNCONDITIONAL backing and funding of State terrorism in the form of Israel.
But the big thorn in the American BUTT,is having to deal with OPEN DEBATE about Israel's RACISM,PRE-EMPTIVE MURDER,ETHNIC CLEANSING/GENOCIDE against Arab/Muslims/Christians etc.
How does America legally justify,on a world stage,UNCONDITIONALLY SUPPORTING a BACK-STABBING ROGUE STATE,without showing that we follow the SAME POLICIES?

I agree with him too.
