To date there are over 35,000 American Troops who have refused to go to Iraq and Afghanistan to fight in ILLEGAL occupations/invasions where THE MAJORITY of people murdered by US WEAPONS and troops are INNOCENT CIVILIAN MEN,WOMEN and CHILDREN.
We Americans,have to REALISE and REMEMBER,that on 9/11 we were NOT ATTACKED by ANY SOVEREIGN NATION.
We were assaulted by an anti-American group of killers of multi-national original,many of whom have/had DEEP TIES,and links to multi-national secret-service organisation(CIA,MOSSAD,ISI,MI5/6 etc).
Therefore,the USA is not FORMALLY and LEGALLY ALLOWED TO WAGE WAR on any SOVEREIGN NATIONS.
What WE DID,and are still doing in Iraq,is UNFORGIVEABLE and had nothing whatsoever to do with 9/11.
What we are doing in Afghanistan/Pakistan is UNFORGIVEABLE,because those SOVEREIGN NATIONS had nothing to do with 9/11 either,except that some anti-American terrorists MAY hold Nationality to those nations ONLY,amongst many others!
What's America and Obama going to do?
ATTACK THEM ALL?
Because if they did,we would ACTUALLY be bombing some of our so-called 'FRIENDS'.
When 35,000+++ American troops REFUSE their orders of redeployment,then you know that it is for an HONORABLE,GOOD CONSCIENCE,HUMANE and JUST reason.
A huge sovereign nation like the USA should NEVER WAGE ALL OUT WAR on civilian men,women and children for the terrible actions of a handful of their countrymen.
That is BRUTAL THUGGERY,PROFITEERING,PIRACY,RANSACKING AND PILLAGING, not "soldiering" defensively,in any honorable sense,merely MASSIVELY DISPROPORTIONATE ETHNIC MASS MURDER.
These are purely OFFENSIVE PRE-EMTIVE ILLEGAL ACTIONS,not DEFENSIVE.
As a WW2 Vet/ex POW I am proud of these WAR-RESISTERS,and would do exactly the same.
In the same way,if my beloved nation was to be attacked by ANOTHER SOVEREIGN NATIONS STANDING ARMED FORCES,I would be one of the first to offer to defend it.
But this is not FORMAL WAR,restricted by Rules,Ethics and Morals of military engagement.
We were attacked---YES!
But by a relatively small force of radical anti-Americans.
But again! We must stop and ask first.....
why is it they HATE AMERICA SO MUCH?
That's pretty obvious as of the last 3-4 decades! And who can blame them,for hating our nation, with the THUGGISH US Governments that have occupying our White House and Congress.
So let's not get carried away here,and keep hold of the fact,that maybe other nations have EVERY RIGHT TO HATE US,no thanks to our foreign 'allegiances' and terribly failed foreign policies!
One of the best ways we can SHOW other nations that we respect their sovereign soil,dignity and freedom to live as they wish,in peace,is to NOT agree to deploy to destroy and devastate them,for DOING NOTHING to us.
For our troops to find the COURAGE TO RESIST A LIE,IS HONORABLE IN DEED!
Far more honorable than murdering innocent civilians.
And,if over 35,000 AMERICAN TROOPS have resisted these illegal Bush/Obama occupations/invasions,then as a Vet,I can say I am PROUD of them for honoring their convictions and conscience.
It takes a real man of honor to say "NO" to mass murder and looting.
