Thanks for your good wishes, it is my leg, not my back, which is a good thing (to paraphrase Martha Stewart) :)
I'm just an obstinant old broad who is very opinionated & has finally found a place to voice my opinions be they right or wrong. I welcome different opinions so I can learn more about what is really happening in the World.
I certainly have my "Pet Peeves": Palm Oil Plantations; Destruction of Rainforest; The Inability Of Israel's & Palestine's Governments to consider what they are doing to ordinary people; Torture is never an option; and the list goes on.
I am not a member of any modern religion, in fact, the references to May 1st does not reflect the true meaning of the date. The subscribers need to dig a bit deeper to actually know what this date implies. I know what it has come to mean, but this is a basterization of the true meaning.

Now I like this plan to save our US economy,because,for sure,and proven fact,the USURY,COMPOUND INTEREST RATE FAIRY MONEY system that the Corporate Reserve and Treasury are running NOTHING but the biggest PONZI SCHEME in American history:the Reserve/Treasury!
End the failed Reserve as we know it.
Nationalise it and INDEPENDENTLY AUDIT IT(including the Gold,Silver,Platinum Reserves).
SCRAP THIS CORRUPT USURY LOOTING of MILLIONS of Americans hard-earned money.
We want to see REAL MONEY not FAIRY-MONEY BALANCE BOOKS!
Because it obviously isn't doing the NATION(280 million people)as a whole any good.Just the top 2 percent of embezzling CROOKS and USURERS.

D/F,One of the biggest problems,I think,in the USA right now,and maybe for many years too,is the indifference of the ordinary people,toward the actions of THEIR PUBLIC SERVANTS in Government.
The USA is SO big,geographically and demographically,that it is easy for people to get separated from their Government and NOT keep an eye on what decisions they are making,what actions they are taking,on OUR behalf.
Many of which,as seen,are NOWHERE near the interests of the MILLIONS of commons,as they should and ought to be,and HAVE endangered NATIONAL SECURITY.
Daily life,family,work,commitments can be very distracting and we tend to leave everything in the hands of those we elect,from district,county,state level all the way up to D.C. and THEN,tend to look away and HOPE that they will do the job FOR US,while we are distracted or busy,OR LAZY!
But,we can't take our eyes off them for a second,because the FURTHER away from their constituents they get,the MORE they forget about the priorities of MILLIONS of ordinary people back in their home states.
They get swamped with special-interest groups,lobbyists,MONEY,fame,perks,freebies,deals etc and FORGET their places.
PUBLIC SERVANTS,who are there by our democratic vote,to serve our MAJORITY wishes.
Every Senator,that goes to serve his/her people seems to forget,after a while in D.C. that they are merely the ECHO,or the MEGAPHONE,of the peoples DEMANDS,and needs.
Same with the President!
The President is MERELY the highest,and hopefully wisest(and that doesn't come with age) PUBLIC SERVANT in the land.
But he/she is STILL there to ensure that demcratic DUE PROCESS and the LAW is observed for the people,and to CARRY OUT,and SIGN INTO LAW ,our public majority wishes and DEMANDS.
That's why WE pay them.
To speak our voice in Government when we are absent by responsibilities,finance,family,work OR DISTANCE.
This is what happens when there is a great distance between Government and the people. Big gaps emerge,people lose focus and don't watch what is happening or being decided behind closed doors or in public chambers.
Those same gaps,which we create often by APATHY,indifference,ignorance too,can be the entry point to much corruption,usury and usurping of power in the hands of those elected.
It's the old,"Oh,they won't know anything about it",or
"They don't know any different",or even,
"They don't care" syndrome.
If our Government are tempted by the 'asp' and they think we are NOT WATCHING their checks and balances,they surely will bite the proverbial 'apple'.
And by that time it's too late!
This UNHEALTHY corrupt Capitalism has had chance to spread,since WW2,because we DO NOT hold our Congresspersons accountable for their bad actions and decisions.
We have not DEMANDED enough of them.
We have not demanded to know where EVERY CENT OF OUR MONEY goes.
That's how the Corporate Reserve and Treasury crooks infested our coffers and LOOTED the lot over the last 3-4 decades min.
Because we ALLOWED them to remove ALL the security 'leashes'(regulations) that kept their rabid money minds,and GRABBING hands,in check before(Glas-Steigel etc).
The Reserve/Treasury is the biggest PONZI ScHEME in US history,and should be put into receivership,investigated(independently) and reformed.
Indict the whole bunch of Corporate USURERS,especially the Goldman Sachs lot!
Most people,when they HIRE someone and pay them,(as we do OUR Congresspersons)and that employee doesn't perform,deliver,try hard and is neglectful or corrupt,they are OUT on the arses! PERIOD! GONE!OFF THE PAYROLL!
But to spot that,the EMPLOYER has to watch like a hawk first,until absolute trust is established.
We don't SEND our Reps to Congress with ABSOLUTE TRUST.
We vote them in on verbal promises,and cross our fingers they will deliver,while burying our heads in the sand.
And quite often,they do NOT deliver what the democratic majority need or demand.
Because the USA is so big and MILLIONS of ordianary Americans are so DISTANT from their seat of Government,they need to make EXTRA effort to keep informed about Government and its motives and actions,otherwise it becomes a mad-house,a free for all,ECONOMIC 9/11.
Especially if your Senators/Reps are enticed,tempted,bribed to serve other 'interests'(wink wink).
And,we must remember,ALWAYS,that just because someone heads off to D.C. doesn't mean they know EXACTLY what they are DOING lol!
We assume that they MUST know everything,therefore we can leave it all in their 'capable' hands.
In actual fact,a fair number are often thick,indifferent,lazy,egoistic,arrogant or corrupt,or a fair mix of all of the above,lol!
Like they say,Democracy is not an observer SPORT,it's a PARTICIPATORY system,a work in constant progress,which means we have to get off our arses,keep informed with world events,sociology,politics,the law and don't give them an inch to take advantage of the populus!
All that,AND juggle our personal life 'apples' too,lol!
It's mainly OUR fault,as a Nation,that we HAVE ALLOWED our PUBLIC SERVANTS to become ROYALTY,pretending to be Kings and Queens,reaping the riches,covering up their mistakes and corruptions,and walking off with the LOOT!
We allowed them to forget that THEY ARE OUR SERVANTS.
Without our vote and support they wouldn't have their posteriors in that Congressional padded seat!
A good Democratic Government is only as good as WE PUSH THEM TO BE.
Don't let them get fossilised in the "establishment".
Keep banging on their doors,windows,phone,emails and saying,
"Eh You! Public Servant. What are you doing this week,why are you doing it and for WHOM?"
I contact my Senators/Reps FREQUENTLY,about what they are doing,voting on,and check the news regularly to keep informed. I am always at local meetings about local problems,issues etc.
Not because I like ALL these people,or everything they aspire to do.
But,because I(and all my neighbours)as CITIZENS and TAX PAYERS,PAY THEIR SALARIES,to tell D.C. what "WE THE PEOPLE",locally,need and want,OR DON'T WANT,and sometimes have a right to DEMAND!
My parents came from a generation where you always had respect for people in Government,but ONLY IF THEY EARNED that respect.
It didn't come with the contract.
Respect came through JOB performance.
And we were NEVER in AWE of them because they were OUR PUBLIC SERVANTS,paid by us!
SERVANTS OF THE PUBLIC(YOU AND ME).
This has NOT essentially changed.
Except,that the "CORPORATIONS" now think that they are 'Royal' persons who have the PRIVILEGE and birthright,which of course is BOVINE EXCREMENT!
Those Corporations,many of whom are BANKSTERS,SHYSTERS,CROOKS and USURERS have taken over our Government,Banking,Economy and even changed the Rule of Law and Constitution to suit themselves!
This is treasonous!
But,we let them do it! By not keeping our brains in gear and our beady eyes on them.
There is no ROYAL LINEAGE HERE!
They have no crowns,coronets,tiaras,ermines,orbs or sceptres!
We don't like them?
FIRE THEM!
VOTE THEM OUT!
They are JUST PUBLIC SERVANTS. OURS!
Make sure they are doing EXACTLY what we pay them to do.
Preserve,protect and defend and Constitution,the people and Nation.
And that MUST start at the BOTTOM level,with 280 MILLION AMERICANS,from the WORKING CLASS,and 38 MILLION below the poverty line,up to the middle and then the top,but smallest part of the social pyramid(who right now are getting the MOST)
Not vice versa.
Never give them an INCH or they will take a MILE. By choice OR neglegence!
