Iranian elections? Hmmmmm!
Well,what can one say for sure right now,LOL!
On the surface it looked like TRUE DEMOCRACY in action,just like the US elections do.
But no doubt there was corruption and some rigging/blocking going on somewhere,just like the USA,lol.(See post below).
But "proper"?
Seems to be,so far!
The turn out and the energy was incredible,just like OURS!
The media focused in on Mousavi as a hopeful of "change",but didn't focus too much or the REALLY ORDINARY majority people of Iran who I sensed still related to Ahmadinejad. And he's been a tough but patient and diplomatic 'cookie' I'll give him that.
He hasn't risen to all the aggressive bait that Israel has been pushing in his face.
Because he knows HE stands on moral and legal high-ground and Israel is still on the ILLEGAL and moral low ground!
I keep thinking back to how Ahmadinejad scored a lot of points with the middle to lower classes in Iran,and WITH MILLIONS AROUND THE WORLD,when he stood up bravely,to Israel,and quite justifiably so,at the Durban II talks,and all those cowards walked out right on cue!
He defended Irans right to a Nuclear Domestic Energy program as per the terms of NNP Treaty(US and Iran are co-signatories,Israel is not).
He is not exactly my favorite guy,still,but he has been VERY PATIENT,CLEVER AND DIPLOMATIC knowing that everything Iran is doing is BY THE LEGAL BOOK and that everything Israel is doing is NOT!
As to the elections again,lol,I can't help but feel that I can hear the Israeli Zionists(and US zionists) clapping and singing that Ahmadinejad has won.
While Obama was probably hoping that Mousavi would win and lessen the 'radical'load,for a more secular,seemingly 'democratic' and wealthy-class regime.And maybe as a way to placate the paranoia of Israel(our 'friendly' parasite).
Israel is busting a paranoid gut to pre-emptively and offensively attack Iran and do it what it did to Southern Lebanon and Palestine,because it can't compete with a successful,solvent Iran. The zionists of the Knesset are completely deluded.
If Mousavi had won,Israel would have lost ALL its excuses to bomb Iran(with US MADE weapons)because,no doubt,a diplomatic friendly-like Obama-Mousavi relationship could be made on the domestic nuclear program.
The silly thing is,Obama can still make good diplomatic relations and tidy up the nuclear mess WITH AHMADINEJAD! No problem!
EXCEPT FOR ISRAEL,as always!

I would watch carefully for Israel using Ahmadinejad's win as a chance to ILLEGALLY hit on Iran(which would be a blatant act of war)while the election is a distraction.
This would still put the USA in a terrible postion unless our Obama Govt. abide by International Laws and Treaties and our Constitution first before coddling to the dangerous and manic political zionists in Israel.

Obama is not exactly Israel's best 'bully' right now,as Bush was,which MEANS that Obama must be DOING THE RIGHT THING! Obama just needs to STOP THE CHECKS TO Israel,and say three words to Congress each day,"The Symington Amendment"(not as romantic as the other 3 words lol)
As far as the Iranian elections again,unless proven otherwise we have to take it at face-value,FOR NOW.
Either way, Iran is NOT DOING ANYTHING WRONG!
Even if Ahmadinejad is STILL second at the helm(apart from the Supreme Leader).
They are totally ABOVE BOARD,and OBSERVING ALL INTERNATIONAL LAWS AND TREATIES, and still haven't attacked anyone in over 200 years.
They know what an Iranian nuclear weapon launch would mean for them.And they are not seeking SUICIDE.
In fact they are better off,stronger and apparently more diplomatic and rational,internationally,if they continue exactly what they are doing.
They have very strong business relations with Russia and strengthening relations with nations in the EU.
Of course all that is really going to p*** off the Isrealis lol!
Being the arrogant,paranoid and JEALOUS ZEALOTS that they are!
The USA should cut all benefits/money to Israel STAT,and just maintain Foreign Diplomatic Relations with it from a distance BEFORE they really stab us in the back.
Whatever the results,of the election,I wish Iran sincere luck and prosperity in the future and hope that Obama can establish really good diplomatic.trade,cultural,domestic nuclear(NNPT)and mutually respectful ties with Iran.
