WHY is the NEW FUEL SOURCE NOT being TOLD to more people

1rick1, I think it was on a recent SCIENCE channel show that mentioned the salt-water/radio wave process you refer to. According to the scientist(s) that they interviewed, the problem was that it takes a lot of energy to make a radio wave powerful enough to convert the salt water to this fuel. Because of this power requirement, it was stated that the process was not really efficient or economical to be an good alternative.

Of course, they could be wrong, or a new method might render their statement obsolete one day.

For myself, there seem to be so many different ways to make things more efficient, and people seem to be discovering and implementing them, whether in their backyards , in universities, or even in some corporate areas. It is fun and exciting to review YouTube videos of some of these, or see them popping up on television.

One method that I don't think has gotten the attention it deserves (though I am sure there are many others) is using compressed air instead of electrical batteries (or capacitors) to accumulate energy from deceleration. There used to be an EPA website that showed a project they completed with Ford Motor Co. of one such vehicle. According to that website (I don't know if it is still around, or I would provide a link), compressed air is a much more efficient method usually than storing electricity in hybrid vehicles. In any case, it would be truly neat to see and hear more about that project -- or any others that have been completed.

Furthermore, if I am not mistaken, a recent European train that has debuted uses compressed air as a hybrid energy storage medium. (Did I see that on DW journal?-- I can't remember where I saw it. . . If anyone knows more about this European train -- and whether or not I am correct in identifying compressed air as the storage method -- please post something, or provide a link! Thanx beforehand!)

Anyhoo-- here's to the future and more wind turbines(of all types, vertical and horizontal axis etc.), solar panels (and solar thermal), wave energy, and all the other millions of possibilities that we have not yet even begun to exploit, but which are all apparently less harmful to the environment than the usual stuff. And let's hope that the government finally kills all subsidies to oil, coal, and nuclear.

The fuel Source I am talking about is Salt Water. It was Discovered by accident that salt water will burn at 1500 degrees using a radio wave. It a clean fuel and can replace gas, oil, and coal as a clean fuel source. It was on a tv station news once. Now no one hearing about the new discovery. I have seen the Video on the news. It can been still found on the web.
