Water shortages are odd. I live in Montana for example and we have nearly DOUBLE the normal rainfall this year, while Texas is in drought.

A few years ago, it was Texas that was flooding and Montana was in drought.

But, thats mother earth for ya!

5,000 years ago, Egypt was a fertile land, now its just desert.

Millions of years ago, the whole planet was a tropical forest.

10,000+ years ago, we were in an Ice Age.

The earth will keep changing and there is not a whole lot we can do to stop it! The more we try, the more we mess it up!

I agree with you. Protests and screaming are not doing any of us any good. And I was tired of them by 2006. :) But I don't fit into the normal liberal box. I would send the National Guard to the southern boarder yesterday if I had a choice.

If we want real discussions it must be the people who organize them, not government or media.

Water shortage has already started to bring the red and the blue together, so I am hopeful We The People are getting back our country slowly. Right now the corporations have more citizen rights than us it would appear.

I just watched a full episode of 'Democrats' now. All they could do was moan and groan and complain about people speaking out against Health Care reform.

Where were these people when Code Pink was going crazy?

I am not saying either way (Far left or right) is the best way to approach things. But, if yelling over others to keep them from speaking is against the American way, then it should be against the American way ALL THE TIME, not just when it suits you.

Anti-War protestors would disrupt speeches, town hall meetings, and public areas with JUST as much negative rhetoric as Anti-Health care protestors.

So tell me, why is it okay to be an Anti-War protestor and not a Anti-Health care protestor? Its because you AGREE with one of them and NOT the other.

I think BOTH are wrong. We need quiet, organized discussions on EVERYTHING, not just the things YOU chose.

No, LinkTV is actually not "far" left. This is the closest you are likely to get to seeing the truth in American media. The mainstream media is a freaking joke and have been for years. All of it is driven by capital and any story that threatens that is downplayed. The country got this bad because of it. We are not told enough truth to make our way or be a threat to their greed.

And Link TV isn't? Link TVs news is polarly opposite and just as crazy as the far right.

The Far Left AND the Far Right are ALL fake and out of touch.

So, that leaves us with NO reliable news source, because they are either far left or far right.

Someday a news program will come out that is completely devoid of political skew.

Thats asinine. Glenn Beck WORKS for FoxNews, he is 'OWNED' by you? Or do you want the government to take over all TV Stations now like Hugo Chavez?

I will admit, Glenn Beck is out on the deep end of Far Right politics, but you still don't 'own' him. Your tax dollars don't pay his salary. You didn't vote him into office. If you don't like him, don't watch him.... I don't.
