What you are referring to is interpretation. Just as Religious people interpret their religions differently, politicians interpret politics differently.

I beleive in Freedom of speech until it slanders someone. You cannot just say what you want about people because you feel like it.

I believe in Freedom of Religion, until you start bombing abortion clinics. Killing to stop killing is not a solution to that issue.

But, as to the subject of your post, yes you WERE duped. I am not sure McCain would have done much better either. However, I do think that when you become President, you learn ALOT more about the world state of affairs then the General Public is aware of.

We do NOT have the right to know EVERYTHING the government knows. Some things are just not meant for the public eye or are so Top Secret that it would threaten our national security if the public knew.

Just because you THINK you are smart enough or brave enough to hear the truth, the fact of the matter is, you are not. I am not.

I have to say Barack,that I voted for you with "hope" for "change" and "transparency",with a return to the Rule of Constitutional Law and the return to Citizens rights,but I have been disappointed(as I have written to your office a few times and said)that your DEEDS,so far,have not endorsed your WORDS.
And I am beginning to believe now that we have been DUPED BIG TIME into electing a protege of the same ole' same ole' D.C/Wall Street dinosaur revolving-door establishment.
I remember ALL your promises to us the people and voters and as soon as I saw who you were mentored by and surrounded by I knew you would never DELIVER up on your promises.I held out hope for a while,but that faded with the reality.
As soon as you,Obama,surrounded yourself with the CLINTON-ITES and Bush-ites,I knew you had sold us down the river in preference for staying with the Corporate,Absolutist Washington Mafia!
