Hey Loch, where have you been? Missed ya!
I agree,I heave a big sigh too,but then I remember that he isn't just a man in a pulpit,he is a State Senator who would like to conjoin Church with State and 'dispense' with every thing in between. That to me is dangerous.
Whatever his personal beliefs are,I don't care.
But,while he is an American statesman, public servant being PAID BY US(as well as his zionist lobbyists of course, the CNA and The Family Research Council, who want to especially wipe out Islam and Hinduism)he should keep his personal beliefs in his pants and remember that he is American and is supposed to uphold his oath of Office to ALL PEOPLE without discrimination, blah, blah, blah.
And his Christian beliefs are elitist and selective, otherwise we would have heard him DEFENDING THE FREEDOMS OF THE ARAB CHRISTIANS in the "Holy Land". Did he mention them?
No! Because they are ARABS,even if many are Semite Arabs.
He doesn't see anything other than the white,protestant,anglo-saxon type of Christian.
That's racism just like the zionist ideology.
He's a hypocrit,and actually a bigot.
He's a selective Christian ideologue and whilst holding a Government position, which is supposed to focus on REALISM and SCIENTIFIC FACT,I consider that very counterproductive to his ability to perform as a Statesman.
Stick him back in the pulpit where he is in his element.
Not in Government where he is supposed to see and hear all sides.
His biased comments offend me as a spiritual person.

The main principle of the USA,which is dying fast,is DEMOCRACY not THEOCRACY.
But,as you say his beliefs ARE HIS REALITY.
But to be in a position of governance he has to realise that his interpretation of theocratics is not shared by the whole.
His arrogance and absolutism is fine on its own,but DANGEROUS spewing from the mouth of a so-called representative of all his constituents.
Huckabee has just shown his home constituents that already he considers SOME more worthy than others.
And that's a NO-NO for a Statesman in a "Democracy".
His ideologies are biased and ready-wrapped which blinds him to actual reality and the full periphery of present day events, including the horrors that go with them, because he is focused on the GLORIOUS theocratic so-far mythical horizon.
That's why he should NOT BE IN PUBLIC OFFICE OF GOVERNANCE.
As a preacher in a pulpit he can espouse that "there is no room for a Palestinian State in Israel"(as he did yesterday in Jerusalem).
But as a US Government public-servant he should recognise that Israel was BUILT IN PALESTINE,on top of the bodies od Palestinian Arab Muslim/Christian indigenous semites, and Israel has spread ILLEGALLY against international law, ever since.
That's not biblical that's purely CRIMINAL!
That's the difference between a theocratic kook and a rational statesman.
The USA Govt. is going to have to decide if it wants to be A PROGRESSIVE SENATORIAL ROME or a REGRESSIVE DUSTY VATICAN.

Senator Huckabee is, at least, being true to his philosophical and religious convictions. As an Evangelical, Dispensationalist Christian, he believes that all the prophecies of the Old Testament are being fulfilled by the current atheistic/Zionist state of Israel.

Dispensationalism, a once-obscure Protestant religious philosophy, was popularized by Cyrus Scofield through the Scofield Reference Bible, first printed in 1909. The Scofield Bible contains a running commentary on every page that "explains" the accompanying scriptures. Such a commentary obviates the need for Divine inspiration when reading the Bible, as all the explaining is done by the commentary. The Scofield Bible remains popular, especially among conservative Protestant sects.

Dispensationalism is an explanation of the eschatological (prophetic) books of the Bible. Simply put, Dispensationalism says that God relates to people in different ways throughout history. These periods are called "ages". Thus, the Dispensationalist dialectic gives us, in sequence, the Edenic, the Antediluvian, the Patriarchal, the Mosaic, and the Church "ages' of history.

Dispensationalism relies heavily on the Futurist eschatology of Francisco Ribera, a Portugese Jesuit priest who, in 1585, as part of the Roman Church's efforts to spark a Counter reformation, published a new interpretation of the Book of Revelation to counter the prevailing Protestant notion, popularized by Luther and other early reformers, which identified the Catholic Church as Beast Power and the Anti-Christ.

Ribera, and Dispensationalist thought, both posit that in the End Times, the Jewish nation will rise again, and will destroy all opposition to gain world dominance. (Thus, since God has ordained the course of history, it is foolish to oppose the Jews, and much better to get on their good side!)

Out of this new nation, 144,000 Jews will become Christians and spread the final wave of the Gospel throughout the earth, sometime around the period when God raptures the faithful non-Jewish Christians to heaven, just before the Tribulation.

Then in quick succession, the Anti-Christ will impose a world government, Armageddon will occur, and Jesus will return to destroy all Jews and other non-Christians with fire.

American foreign policy has been dominated by Dispensationalist philosophy at least since the time of President Ford, up until the current Administration. Dispensationalism is the basis and entire reason behind the US support for Israel. Mike Huckabee, as a conservative Christian, is merely being more direct and honest in his application of his philosophical viewpoint than others have been.

Coming from a hermenuetical standpoint, I don't believe Dispensationalism stands up to a systematic study of the Scriptures. In other words, it is bad Bible interpretation, and makes for a worse foreign policy. Unfortunately, it is a waste of time to argue someone's spiritual beliefs. Mike Huckabee believes this nonsense with all his heart, and all I can do is heave a deep sigh and respect him for being honest about it.

US GROUP INVESTS MILLIONS IN ILLEGAL Jewish-only Colonies on Palestinian land.
And just to put context to what Senator Huckabee has been saying in Jerusalem lately, this SAME group PAID FOR HIS AIR-TICKET to Israel is speak FOR the theft of land by Israel.
Senator Huckabee this US TAX-PAYER MONEY should be staying in the USA,not going to Israel!
Why do you think AIPAC should be shut down?
Because it's a FOREIGN POLITICAL ORGANISATION that fronts for Mossad who SPY ON US and sell our National Security military/weaponssecrets to China,PAkistan and YES--IRAN!
Shame on you Huckabee you've WHORED yourself out well this time.

Well Sentor Huckabee, ain't that 'so special'!
You get your TRIP TO JERUSALEM PAID FOR BY Ateret Kohanim, a Jewish group who FACILITATES Jewish people STEALING PALESTINIAN historical land, property, homes in East Jerusalem(which is against Israel's UN membership conditions).
Then Senator Huckabee, you have the HUBRIS to critisize Obama on his comments about Israelis and their crimes?
I wouldn't be comparing it to the Bronx,Huck.
That's find a correct comparison here.
Let's say we(the USA)muscled in on Canada, without permission, and started occupying Canadian land and pushing Canadians out of THEIR HOMES?
How would you expect Canada to react to that?
I think they would have EVERY RIGHT to protest and contest our crimes on their land.
Don't you Huck?
And if you don't,then it's obvious where your loyalties lie and how easily you have been bought. How much do you get from AIPAC and AK to lobby their crimes?
Hope your US constituents are listening to your words?
They are very revealing.
In fact why don't you stay in Jerusalem and help demolish the ancient Palestinian homes?
Shame on you Huck!
