Now just incase you need a refresher course on what we are doing in Afghanistan/Iraq here are some FLASHBACKS worth reading VERY CAREFULLY,to understand why OUR TROOPS and HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of innocent foreigners are getting maimed,killed,blown to bits.
It's not about "DEMOCRACY" or "FREEDOM" or "winning heatrs and minds".
It's ALL about OIL AND GAS!
And has been since the early-mid 1990's.
Those were the days when all the Eurasian pipelines were being layed by everyone and anyone who had or could raise the dosh.Mainly US/Saudi/Turkish/UK banks and oil companies,on the one hand and Iranian/Russian/Chinese on the other.

The Caucuses/Afghani WAR/DRUG-LORDS were still getting PAID BILLIONS(heck even Enron paid OBL and the Taliban 400 million bucks)of US bucks,escorted by the CIA(just like Dostum in 2001 when the CIA paid him 2 million)in order to lay those pipelines and still come out alive.
War in Afghanistan was planned BEFORE 9/11 and so was the OUSTING of Saddam(he stood in the way of the flow of oil to Turkey).

READ VERY CAREFULLY the history,follow the links,and think about what's happening today in these places,and last but not least ALL OUR TROOPS that are dying(and it's not even over yet),and Obama is going to increase the OCCUPATION,which will make the locals hate us more.
Yep,it's ALL about oil!
So,does a tank of cheap gas mean more than the lives of our US children in uniform and millions of innocent foreigners?
