And bear in mind that Turkey is VERY INVOLVED with Israel right now over issues such as Oil/Gas resources on the Eurasian pipeline(invested in by Turkish Banks,Cille family,Tamoil,)that goes from Georgia to Turkey through Southern Armenia,Northern Iraq(Kurdish-Iraqi-Turkish contested land).
The other flashpoint between them is "KURDISTAN" and the Turkmen Kurds who want to secede from Iraq and Turkey and the nationalist Semitic Arab Iraqis who stand to LOOSE MOST OF THEIR NATURAL RESOURCES if a formal Kurdistan is formed and secedes.
That would also really anger the secular ottoman Turkey who believe Kurdistan land is still Ottoman Turkish,and it could divide them from the more Islamic Turks.
And right bang-smack in the middle(as always)is Israel(our "friend") and US who are partners in oil and use Turkey as a launch-pad for MILITARY manouvers!
