Oh dear is right! Who comes up with these
buzz words to try to describe the plight of some of societies occurrences? It is sad to see that some parents are not strong enough to put a stop to what society does to their children.

Oh Dear! Blackwater AND BASEBALL,on steroids! Not that that's a surprise,in baseball, having been going on for years already, but always let off lightly in favour of the media'buck'!
But,the ethical issues are the same whether the abuser carries a baseball bat in the arena or an automatic weapon in the other 'arena'. It's illegal and changes and endangers the person/ality,as well as endangering others around, whether sports families, innocent sports fans OR innocent foreign civilians!
I can understand(if not forgive)the external/internal pressures that may cause the individual to think of using these drugs,BUT,the sympathy stops AS SOON as they consciously subject themselves to the first dose and any thereafter. AND SHAME on the coaches, trainers, company bosses,black-market pharmaceutical companies and ANYONE else who knows that the abuse goes on and ignores it!They are complicit in the crime and shame.
It's so sad,for the parents, who are unable to stop their childrens, physically, mentally and emotionally change due to anabolic steroid use or OTHER stimulants, just because of pressure to perform well in a sport, peer group,or war,and to achieve fame and money!
AND,to find out that a coach or trainer, who they trusted to care for their child,IN THE ARENA,has encouraged,or INTRODUCED them to illegal steroid abuse,is UNFORGIVEABLE. Fire that coach/trainer IMMEDIATELY! And burn their credits.
How does one explain to a wide-eyed youngster that the sportsperson they look up to and admire only performs like a hero because they are 'stoked' on drugs, not natural strength, skill, pride, integrity, gamesmanship, and honour?
It's a shame on the player, the supplier, the club and fellow co-players,and last but not least,an embarrassment to the loyal fans.
Oh!and lest we forget, the 'mere' reputation and integrity of the COUNTRY! Or have we given up on that already?
The stats of the Mitchell Report are embarrassing even if not surprising. As Gore has said before on other matters,it's an "INCONVENIENT TRUTH",that we can't afford to ignore AND still expect to gain respect, internationally!
I grew up with the saying, "That's not sportsmanship" or "sportsman-like"!
That implied a lack of honour, code, morals and ethics.
Maybe that's another tradition for the garbage dump? I sure hope NOT!
Heck! we don't need 'rhoids' we're AMERICAN! Right?

When is "reasonably" not rational?
In this "new agreement" between The Pentagon and The State Department, that sets down new controls over private security contractors in Iraq,it says that deadly force is OK to use as long as the private contractor:
"reasonably believes that a person has committed a hostile act or demonstrated hostile intent and poses an imminent threat of death or serious bodily harm to the personal security contractor."(Washington AP 12/6/07)
In a normal, relatively stress-free environment that would appear to be sensible.
BUT,we are talking about:
a)a HIGH stress situation, with people moving at high speeds with quick responses, where rationality kow-tows to survival instincts and
adrenaline rushes in 'fight or flight'circumstances.
b)an UNKNOWN amount of armed mercenary personnel(including Blackwater) are functioning on STEROIDS,which are KNOWN to effect levels of reason, sanity, rationality and judgement!!!!
So,the term "reasonably" is relative and VERY questionable when the perpetrator happens to be,say,an armed mercenary'PUMPED' up on ILLEGAL hormonal
and performance enhancing chemicals, firing on a car full of unarmed,no-threat civilians,or bystanders(Sept.16th incident for example)!
WHERE IS REASON WHEN 'ROID RAGE'IS IN EFFECT?
I think the Pentagon and State Dept, had better:
1)improve their random,frequent drug-testing by independant panels,on P/C's,
2)raise accountability/penalty standards of Company owners AND EMPLOYEES in suspect incidents.
3)Protect what is left of America's reputation abroad and
4)set tough standards on the mental/physical/emotional
capability of ANY private contractors BEFORE they are even allowed to set foot in a battle zone OR lay their hands on any vehicle or weaponry.
Tell me,if you were a high-value diplomatic 'package'(person) and companies like Blackwater was contracted to get you from A to B safely, how would YOU FEEL if you knew that your guards were on mood/judgement/rationality altering ILLEGAL drugs?
How would you feel,if a car full of innocent passengers, travelling 'too close' behind you,was riddled with bullets and water bombs AND PEOPLE KILLED,by your guards whose rational judgement was marred by STEROIDS OR STUPIDITY?
This new agreement between The Penatagon and The State Dept. had better take into consideration that the term "reasonably",right now,is very relative and very vulnerable while ANY 'soldier of fortune' or regular soldier is swapping good judgement for CHEMICAL ENHANCEMENT!
So, when is "reasonable" not reasonable?
When it's on DRUGS!
We will be'watching this space',REASONABLY!!!

Well that would explain a lot, though CERTAINLY not EXCUSE their unprofessional on-the-OFFENSIVE criminal behaviour!
A private mercenary company with full immunity given by the 'macho men' of the White House.Definately smells of rotten-eggs!
No-bid contracts given by The Pentagon,at the bequest of their Republican Party crusaders! More rotten eggs!
NOW,there is talk of them ILLEGALLY abusing steroids? Is that just BEFORE they pick up their weapons, and gun down innocent people,OR AFTER?
It's sickening enough to see it in sportspeople,BUT unforgivable to see an armed 'uniform' showing symptoms of voluntary 'rhoid' rage! Do they really need to HEIGHTEN their stress levels more and jeapodize their sane judgement?
The very thought of it just stinks to high heaven and reeks of depraved indifference, voluntary manslaughter and conduct UNBECOMING of a uniformed soldier representing the USA! And,Eric Prince can plead ignorance as much as he likes,BUT HE IS ULTIMATELY RESPONSIBLE!
DISGRACEFUL and very embarrassing for The White House and the Republican party 'old boys' club. And not conducive to a credible image of the USA.
AND,don't tell me that any fighting, sporting or competitive man(or woman)DOESN'T know the effects of steroid use on self-control,moods and judgement.Even the doctors WHO prescribe them ar culperable. IT'S ILLEGAL!
Which means that EVERY time they voluntarily took/take steroids,THEY KNEW/KNOW they were exchanging, the national law(from which they ARE NOT IMMUNE),rationality and good judgement, for physical power and stamina, whilst CARRYING ARMED HEAVY WEAPONS! Oh dear!
This puts peope like Bush and Chaney,if only by their Republican Party financial links to the Prince/Blackwater Co,in a very 'sticky'and smelly situation.
Bush and Chaney have enough to explain, but hey,why not throw in a few 'steroids' aswell! Call it the 'immunity party'!
Disgraceful,negligent and embarrassing!

Let's see how the Appropriations Committee and Judicial Committee deal with THIS one?
