VIDEO:"The Hell that is Gaza":Mohammed Omer speaks in D.C.(last Thuersday)about the brutality of the Israeli blockade by land, sea and air,on Gaza, where 1.5 million men, women and children live in a WARSAW GHETTO-TYPE camp.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oQhovnOjZyM&feature=player_embedded

The actual talk was about 1 hour,at the 'Jerusalem Fund for Education and Culture'(Palestine Center)in D.C. and you can view the whole speech on:

It is our responsibilities,as Americans,to know about all this, that Israel does to others, because it's OUR US TAX-DOLLARS that enables all these WAR CRIMES and human rights abuse and under the US Foreign Appropriations Act:The Symington Amendment:the BILLIONS of dollars the US sends INTEREST-FREE,and REPAYMENT-FREE annually to Israel,as well as all the FREE WEAPONS AND ARMOR we send annually, that causes all this DESTRUCTION,PAIN AND SUFFERING to innocent people, just because they are NOT JEWISH and happen to have land and resources that Israel covets and seems to imagine it is solely entitled to.
How would YOU feel,if someone, local or FOREIGN did this to your family and neighbourhood?
Listen and think well!
Israel could not do all this without OUR US TAXES!

Mohammed Omer, the young journalist from Rafah, who was stripped, beaten and humiliated by Israeli Security at the Allenby Bridge crossing when he returned to Palestine/Gaza,last year from Europe after winning The Martha Gellhorn Prize for Journalism(the youngest ever)along with Dahr Jamail, will be speaking about Rafah/Gaza and his abuse,as Journalist,by Israel for merely speaking the truth to the world,at Harvard University(Cambridge)this coming week.
There will be a march by students/peace advocates to protest Israel's brutal policies(see the pdf flyer on the website below)
Mr.Omer has also just been awarded the Norwegian 2009,'Ossietsky Prize'(after the writer/Nobel Prize winner Carl Von Ossietsky who vehemently opposed Fascism in Nazi Germany(his home)and was also, imprisoned, tortured and abused for speaking the truth)for outstanding achievement in journalism,in very difficult circumstances(military occupation and blockade of Gaza).
Bravo,young Mr Omer!
Keep speaking for the "voiceless"because more and more of the world is listening now.
