This happened before,last December/January.
Hamas stood by,and honored the cease-fire.
It was ISRAEL who offensively attacked the Palestinian/Gazan village,causing the Palestinians to DEFEND themselves,AGAIN,just as we would do,if someone attacked our homes,on our land.
And then Israel attacked and slaughtered in "Operation Cast Lead"(Blood).
Israel does not want,and never has wanted,equitable,mutual,respectful peace with the any Muslim/Christian neighbours.
It never intended to abide by UN resolutions(a condition for its UN membership),or give back anything it has stolen from the Palestinians,in sixty +++ years!!!!
It is good to see the democratically elected Hamas doing the non-violent thing and staying patient and pragmatic,and not giving Israel any valid excuse to divide and strike the Palestinians as a NATION of people united.
But,this will never stop VIOLENT Israel from ATTACKING Palestinian,Lebanese,Syrian civilians at its own 'above the law' arrogant whim.
Gaza(Hamas)and Lebanon(Hezbollah)will be next to be attacked by Israel,pre-emptively(trying to implicate Iran as an excuse for the US to attack Iran as Israel's proxy).
Israel wants the natural gas from the Gazan waters,AND the Litani River in Lebanon.
Israel's water supplies are desperately low,and it is using up the occupied land supplies fast.In other words Israel is DYING by its own hand!
Then Egypt will be next(the Nile waters)and Jordan(West Bank).
Israel is on a political-zionist path to self-destruction,and it is the achilles heel of the USA too.
And stuck in its wake,are all the innocent non-Jewish,non-zionist civilians trying to defend themselves from massively disproportionate slaughter and land/resource-theft.
Just like Warsaw,just like Soweto and all other racist,colonial occupations.
Hamas should know better than anyone,Israels tactics of divide and rule through lies and deception.
Even 'poor ole' Abbas steps down without any face,or dignity left!
But he was paid well for it.
