I am not scared of my Goverment I am lucky
I live in the most beatifull place where people live and let live and where we can be free in our espressions.
We have good medical even if it could be improved, animals are for the most respected (still work to do) and I will not go to jail or get flagged for being espressive.
I am not going against my Goverment..I just would like to see improovments,we need housing for poor people and we need to help this world to be safer and it is in the interest of any goverment.
I don t believe in violence and I fight slavery in every way I can.
If the people in the US are scared ....I am sorry for them.
We have a chance to make this world fair and safe so why not ?
I love freedom don t You ? So why not work together to get it?
I would call it differently..is more FEAR of the unknown, fear of the OTHER...HORRIBLE AND STUPID
I admire that man and I hope he will join me in an anty war moevment based on law and softness..not on violence.
My only consern...is that we need to protect our home base and the only way to do this is by chnging the law in regards to immigrants and refugees.
We need a world with no more refugees to start off with
If we don t create wars...we will have no more refugees
I would not be alowed to go in topless in Palestine...I would not go it out of respect..so...why are we allowing others to come here and not live by our stundards ?
If we impose..freedom to all the women that we have in our country....they will have equal rights for the children and less hate twords us.
I know many think that I am young becouse of my entusiasm for equal rights for all..but I am not a dreamer I am just sombady that is tired of injustice and that knows that we are very close to a 3 ww if we don t use our empathy and justice...we will be dead.
I watched this video. I totally agree with Michael Prysner. I hope he is still alive, and can lead a revolution in this country (the US), and create awarness to a broader audience around the world. I am not ready to join the Taliban or anything, but I can see why many countries hate us. The US suffers from the very same thing the people of Iran suffer from = opression by our own governments.
I am a firm believer in that.
People like "you and me"... yah - yah - yah. Not to be flippant, but try convincing a regular person walking the streets in Yemen, Oman, or Iraq that TWW is not an evil tyrant.
There are very real, major systemic social issues conflicting here. A clash of civilizations, if you will? These are problems that Karl Marx, Max Weber, Emanual Kant, Emile Durkheim, Pierre Bourdieu and other social theorists wrestled with in the past.
The best and most recent one, Pierre Bourdieu, has actually came the closest in my opinion, in summarizing how we humans perpetuate our daily practices through habits, and by having a practical mastery over our perpetual discourses are precisely what drives our worldviews. Dell Hymes, John L. Austin, John Searl, Mikhail Bahktin, and other language professionals would have probably argued that our "worldviews" are perpetuated as a result of our social constraints (i.e. cultures), and with whom we associate ourselves with on a daily basis (i.e. what language groups do we associated with and why - are there real concrete benefits to participate in these groups, meaning... do we get food and water - essential means of survival, from these people with whom we associate ourselves with?).
These things cannot change overnight... this is why I (a US citizen) am completely against the whole notion of being in both Iraq and Afghanistan under war time constraints. Once we leave, and we will leave, what then??? The Taliban and other infiltraters (i.e. people against TWW) will simply move back in and perpetuate their daily practices hell bent on terrorizing TWW. If your life and sustainability depends on dealing with these people on a daily basis, then what are you going to do? Side with the US, the people who are no longer there? Or will you side with the Taliban or Al Queda groups? It is a fundamental means of survival, and the US government simply cannot draw up these conclusions. I wish these supposed Washington "think tanks" would actually think, instead of continuously cowtowing to the old Republican play book of fighting power with might.
The US is filled with people who care about humanity, as I am sure many people in the Middle-East are, as well. But the only answer to the worlds' problems do not lie in perpetuating a cycle of violence. The answer lies within our ability to communicate with one another, which frankly - I have not been seeing any posts on Linktv.org blogs from anyone in Middle-Eastern countries. Very sad - perhaps the word hasn't reached them yet.
I think that often many think of the TWW as a big monster full of demons that just want to eliminate and misuse others ,I would like to remind many that is just a world made of people like You and me.
Men , women , children and many animals wan t to make ends meet with out taking from anybody, they just want a better world for all,not just the few.
We are all one,we are all responsible for each other well being with words, thoughts actions and the lack of them.
I would love to see a better understanding of the human condition from all sides, not just the "easy to point fingers at"side.
White light to all
