It was interesting but VERY SAD to watch the campaign 'Oscars' last night,to realise how MUCH OUR NATIONAL ELECTIONS are OWNED by the Corporate media,and virtually sewn-up REGARDLESS of the will of the people.
The ordinary people were OUTSIDE on the streets NOT EVEN getting media coverage,whilst all the glitzy 'MONEY folks sat inside,all warm and cozy,in their $300 + seats!
AND,an even stranger thought came to me whilst sadly watching the corporate media take the election AWAY from the people.
When Clinton and Obama are ushered into office(in whatever order),I think they will both divorce their marital partners and MARRY EACH OTHER,and they'll have Mcain as Veep!
His arms are probably getting shorter because of his chest muscles are getting puffier!
I tell you,last night,the questions and answers were so polite and pitiful and AVOIDED MOST OF REALITY and challenge to REAL character!
How on earth does a peoples Democracy survive when Presidents are s-elected by money,corporations,media,endorsements and super-delegates,and executive priveledge takes precedant over the Judicial Rule of Law?

Bush boy did a wonderful job delivering his cheer leader style speech, rambling on and on doubtful that he even knew what he was saying, nor did he care. After seven years in public speaking, he still can't enunciate his words properly. Loved those fake clap sessions. New trade agreements with Puru, S Korea, Columbia - that's mighty one-world of him. Emissions free nuclear power plants-yeah sure. Reducing pollution? yeah right. He still can pronounce the word Nu cleur. Cheney still has that pissed off look on his face for running the country and not being given any credit for it. Oh, I can hardly wait until Bush boy has Palestine and Israel sign that almighty "peace agreement", then the fun will really begin....

Yeh! He reckons that giving us 'poor huddled masses' a tax rebate(which is ACTUALLY blood money)we'll forget,in our attention deficit mentality,exactly what he's been responsible for,IN THE WHITE HOUSE,the last 7 years!
Whatever he does,in his 'sunset' year,won't change the fact that he,AND CHENEY,should BE IMPEACHED for multiple lies,war-mongering and mis-use of National Office power,the Constitution and Bill of Rights!!!
If he'd been a good,honest,moral and ethical President,he wouldn't even have to TRY TO BUY US ALL OFF in the last minutes of the final quarter before he skips,merrily,off to the Cayman Islands,with Cheney,to count his ill-gotten gains.

I think I am going to vote for Edwards, I am sick of the media cramming the other two demo's down my throat. Although, McCain and Romney would both make good war pres', It seems that McCain is just itch'en to get into it with Iran and Syria (and who ever else he can pick a fight with).
And about Mr Bush's speech--what a waste of time, he just has to convince people that he is actually doing something in his last year rather then making it look like he's skaten through.
