Well, if I remember school correctly, we are a Federal Constitutional Republic. We are somewhat democratic in that most of our leaders are elected. We can't really consider ourselves a "True Democracy" because the people don't actually vote on issues but instead give that power to elected representative that are supposed to follow the will of the people. In fact one of the major roles of a republic is to limit the majority from assuming tyranny over the minority---kinda like regulated democracy. Consequently, when the majority of such a said contry becomes so seperated by the minority of rich people, the illusion of democracy tends to fade.

You know what? I think Bill Clinton's NOT ready for female President yet! He doesn't seem to think she can do it WTHOUT his flushed face on camera.
And if Hilarity doesn't have the gall to say to hubbie Bill,'Hey,darlin',chill out,
this is MY race remember? You ain't running for Pressie hun,OR VEEP,you're just ONE of the candidate for 'First Spouse'(the term Gentleman was scuppered along with Monica!!!)
And I think Bill is getting a bit too racist and his vision is becoming MORE monochromatic than ole' Al Jolson's stage acts! Forget the argument of 'black on white'(or visa versa) and get on with thinking of YOUR VOTERS as AMERICANS!!We have enough problems in the election system with 'herding' all voters into either 'red'or 'blue' pens,when the American Nation is made up of AT LEAST THREE political colours RIGHT NOW! No-one gets MY PRECIOUS VOTE who continues to sub-divide Americans into parties of melanin skin-levels!

Possibly with the mix of experience,youth,positive change,middle-class focus and,of course,their lawyer background(Rule of Law)not to mention good looks on camera,I RECKON,the Edwards/Obama duet(whichever way) could be very promising for AMMMEERRRICCAAAH and a good INTERNATIONAL IMAGE!

I find it amazing that some of these candidates who have dropped out of the race ALREADY,have some of the strongest and feasible ideas,AND EXPERIENCE,on how America SHOULD be,yet the only reason they have to go is that capitalistic "Democracy" won't ALLOW them to run.That's pretty ELITIST for a democracy of equality what?(nudge,nudge,wink,wink,say no more).
They either don't have the capital,even if they HAVE the voters NATIONWIDE,who want them,need them and would back them,
OR,they can't get the 'required' percentage in the mere PRIMARY caucus votes, representing a measly quarter of the Nations States LOL!
Talk about a cocked-up election system.Even if they HAD qualified to the end,the machines would have been rigged to void ther NAMES when the finger hit the TOUCH-SCREEN 'joke'machines.
