I think Obama is young enough(middle age)to have not already sold his soul to the highest bidder and I would hope that he is strong enough,in HIMSELF,as a person not to mention also as a professional lawyer(Rule of Law et al),to put the American people,and their national ethics,safety and reputation first,despite the fact that he is ALREADY surrounded by special interest'vultures'and'demons'that feed on guilt and debt.
He may be the type of guy who we can gradually see grow into a proud evergreen(or date-palm with global warming)in the all-American,multi-cultural/multi-ethnic'garden'? Hey! perhaps he should have Ron Paul as his V/P,now that would be a REAL CHANGE!
I would always say that change is better than stagnancy,which festers disease.Democracy means change through progressive,equal and lively debate.

They are the words that tell us what our nation was meant to be; Our actions decide what our nation is.If all of us are equal, I wish some one could explain to me why a child with a life-threatening illness who has rich parents and lots of insurance lives, and a child with the same disease who has poor parents and no insurance dies. Too often, family position and wealth decide who goes to Harvard and who goes to war.
