Honestly the best reports are from Al Jazeera and Dubai but I appreciate Mosaic's selections and diversity. I also love the Friday Intelligence Report by Dajani. Excellent analysis!

It seems to me that Mosaic could not adequately support a broader portion of the Middle East without having a longer show. The countries most often covered have ongoing issues which the US is involved in, and which people here should know more about so that they can appropriately assess the actions of our own government.

I would enjoy seeing more middle east news, but not at the cost of losing the continuity of regular reports from multiple perspectives on the areas now most thoroughly covered. I don't think that the show should be judged on areas it doesn't cover, but rather on the quality of coverage of the areas of focus. I do think it is necessary to have a certain degree of focus to do or say anything at all meaningful.

Mosaic airs reports from all the countries listed below. The most viewed Arab news satellite TV stations are based in the gulf: Al Jazeera (Qatar), Al Arabiya (UAE)etc., these countries are tiny but their media reach is huge.Mosaic frequently airs the same story not only from the source country but through multiple lenses.

I watch Mosaic at least a couple of times a week. I have noticed that coverage is heavily slanted toward the tiny and unrepresentative sheikdoms. It's rare to see anything from the TV news of Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, Jordan or Syria, let alone Saudi Arabie, Yemen or Oman. I'm wondering if we are getting a deliberatly skewed picture of Middle Eastern news. Coverage of the TV press of the majority of the Arab-speaking worls is unfortunately lacking in Mosaic.
