Pervez Musharaf! You lily-livered lil'chicken s**t!
Don't you dare neglect your position as leader by blaming Bhutto fo her OWN death!
She may have been foolish to not increase her security-YES!
She may have been unwise to "stick her head out of the sunroof"-yes!
But,the ultimate blame STILL lies in the hands of those who fired the gun,carried/set off the explosives and YOU for not protecting, respectfully,a political colleague and fellow citizen!NOT TO MENTION ALL THE OTHERS WHO WERE INJURED OR DIED!!
If you have nothing to hide,or be ashamed of,then stand back and allow an INDEPENDANT U.N. investigation to proceed and get on with YOUR job of bringing the perpetrators(friends of yours or not!)to open court and punishment.Give us the facts from an independant autopsy!
You want respect from decent people 'Mushy'?
YOU HAD BETTER START EARNING IT,matey!
Nothing to hide? Then, nothing to fear!!!!!
these are big ifs.....if we looking at pakistan.where army cheif comes anytime he wants too.amy cheif becoming president.
benazir coming back after 8 years.security is first thing she would have follow as goverment and western media including democrates was worried about.
scotland yard team going to pakistan for investigate her assasination.but their is no poastmatum report.her husband didnt allow doctors and how scotland yard start investigate assasination case.
being husband is one thing.....omg she was leader aswell how u can barried her without cunsultation with members of party.
Yes! you are right Riz,the history of corruption attributed to Benazir AND her father,is hard to ignore and forget.I was concentrating more on her good points as a woman,a Muslim and mother. Who knows, maybe she would have attempted, this time around,to atone for her previous political weaknesses and MAKE IT right again, with her people and her conscience. We will never know now!
Gosh,where does one start?
I guess someone who doesn't EVER want to see Democracy,OR A WOMAN heading an Islamic country. Which always amazes me because the second most respected Muslim, was Khadija, the wife of the Prophet Mohammed(PBUT),who was also a very strong minded, brave, independant, business woman and loyal to her faith.
If Muslims are responsible for Bhutto's death, then they have insulted the mother of Islam(Khadija).
Of course political reality also says that Musharraf and Washington have a lot to gain from her death too.In an ever-increasing war-torn,tribal land(next door to lawless Afghanistan)Pakistan, with IT'S NUCLEAR WEAPONRY,is too unstable to risk anything less than military control,BY A MILITARY DICTATOR WHO ANSWERS TO WASHINGTON! The peace-loving people of Pakistan are caught in a tight corner.
Benazir Bhutto was no angel and she knew the risks and threats involved in going back. But,she was brave to go "back to her country",and STILL try to make an attempt at finding a middle ground between the fundamentalist rebels and the military rule.
It is SO sad, because she was a sitting duck to anyone who wanted to remove her.
But,she should NOT have gone back,UNTIL Musharraf and the USA had made a previous, SERIOUS,all-out attempt to raze Al Qaeda and Bin-what's his name,to the ground once and for ALL,because THEY are the real disease within Islam.
That is IF ole' Dubya and Pervez actually WANT Osama dead???? LOL!
Military dictators thrive in chaos and terror, after all,it gives them an excuse to continue and justifies their autocratic presence!
God help, and give hope to,the good people of Pakistan.
They are in a very difficult position.
To the family and supporters of Benazir Bhutto,my condolences. So sad,so un-necessary!
Peace,Salaam,Shalom!
"I don't fear death... I don't think it can happen unless God wants it to happen because so many people have tried to kill me." These were the chilling words of the late former Pakistani Prime Minister, Benazir Bhutto during a recent interview.
Back in October, after narrowly escaping an assassination attempt when a suicide bomber struck at a rally in Karachi to welcome her back from exile, Ms.Bhutto said that she had received a letter, signed by someone claiming to be a friend of Al Qaeda and Osama bin Laden, threatening to slaughter her like a goat. But she also accused Pakistani authorities of not providing her with sufficient security, and hinted that they may have been complicit in the Karachi attack. So who is responsible for her murder this time?
