Riz, President Bush is ONLY a man,and ONLY the President of the U.S,until the next election. He does not speak,or think, for ALL Americans. In fact the majority of ordinary people know what he is made of and consequently do not support him,BECAUSE we love our country and are patriotic and protective of it's Constitution,Bill of Rights, peace and progress.
Hopefully our next President will be someone who says,'Enough,NO more hyocritical favouritism'.Ethics AND MORALS and respect for universal human rights are more powerful than ANY man-made weapon, and will win in the end.
Bush is ONLY Bush! He is not the American people.
And the world is getting sick of lawless Israel being a law unto itself when it is only one State amongst MANY NATIONS.
The UN,EU,AL ETC must REMIND Israel of its responsibilities and duties and if the Israelis DO NOT comply, they should be SUSPENDED from membership!
Peace,Salaam,Shalom.

RizD, I would be happy to get into the China/India debate with you soon,BUT right now I am SO FURIOUS with what the Israelis are doing and that is AN immediate crisis that has to be commented on,with rivers of pollution etc flowing into the occupied lands(probably from the safer Israeli high-ground!)and this ridiculous stand-off between Israel and Hamas, both of whom are no better than the other right now by allowing sick people, premature babies, children and elderly to suffer so much.IT IS A DISGRACE! In fact I think the UN/EU/AL should ALL legally penalize Israel with financial blockage, embargoes etc to make them accountable for NOT obeying UN Security Council Resolutions and continuing to inflict racism, ethnic cleansing and universal human rights abuse UPON the Palestinian people! I will say this over and over again, because it is a fact. The UN Security Council should SUSPEND all relations with Israel until they comply with humane standards and prove that they are WORTHY of their seats! In fact suspend the Israelis and give their seats to India!!! They are,at least, beginning to show a progressive face NOT REGRESSIVE!
I had no personal reason to critisize Israel before,no antisemitic feelings,UNTIL Israel proved to me since WW2 that they cannot be trusted and after all their own misery they CHOOSE to remain inhuman. They should be ashamed of themselves.
Suspend Israel from the UN!

Iheartisrael has a point of course, but only if one looks at the entire issue out of context. The Jews who lived in Palestine prior to the advent of the 20th century were accepted members of the society. What does a general population (of Arabs) do when an entire people invades your land, as happened in the first half of the 20th century? When the Zionists first showed up, like the American Indians, the Arabs welcomed them, but due to the arrogance and territorial aggression of the Zionists, even before the UN partition, the Arabs became disenchanted with the Jewish settlers.

World War One was given to the British by the German Zionists, who made a deal with the British to get both America and Russia in the war, in exchange for Palestine. (www.rense.com/general69/bjs.htm)

The Zionists have always had a vision of a greater Israel, one that includes the territory not only of the west bank, but also of Jordan, the Sinai, and portions of western Iraq. http://www.bollyn.com/index/?id=10769

This is the ancient Solomonic Empire, and the Zionists want it ALL BACK. They are prepared to do whatever it takes. The Zionists are responsible for the prolongation of WW One, with its millions dead, the Soviet nightmare, with its 60 millions murdered, World war 2, with its millions dead, (Both Roosevelt and Churchill were Jews, and Zionists: http://judicial-inc.biz/Bush_Mossad11.htm )the rest of the Communist scourge, with untold millions murdered, and of course, the current wars of aggression in the Middle East, with their tally of millions murdered. Even if the six-million figure of Jewish deaths attributed to the Nazis were true, it is a paltry figure compared with the number murdered by the Zionists.

So the Arab nations didn't attack Israel in 1948 due to an isolated fit of racist
pique. They knew what Israel was attempting, and they saw an imperative need to defend themselves from a vicious invading force. What if the Chinese, based on their ancient records, which truly indicate they surveyed the Western cost of North America as early as 4000 years ago, decided that California should be a Chinese colony? Would we as Americans, just say, "Oh, sure, that makes a lot of sense! You're welcome to it!" Again, as foreign invaders ourselves upon this continent, does anyone demonize the American Indians for resisting that invasion to the best of their ability?

General Patton opposed the resettlement of Jews in Palestine. Judaism, he said, is a religion, not a race. It would be just as absurd to mandate a nation for all Catholics, or for all Presbyterians. Patton was assassinated for his troubles. His car was struck by a truck. When Patton did not consent to die immediately, the truck driver beat him with a metal pipe. When he still refused to die, he was poisoned in the hospital. http://judicial-inc.biz/patton_murder.htm

I admit that until just recently, I supported Israel. The process by which I changed my opinions developed like this:

1. I began to watch Mosaic. I was able, for the first time, to see real images of Palestine, and what "terrorists" looked like and did, and what the IDF looked like and did.

2. I watched the Lebanese war of 2006. I was shocked and horrified by the Israeli aggression.

3.I began to do my own research on the internet. I was able to piece what I learned together with my own observations and experiences. The conclusions I have drawn have completely changed my perceptions of the Zionist Entity, and that of the Palestinians who resist it with such a mixture of pathos and courage.

I think any American who does his/her own independent research into the issue of Zionism, and who keeps both an open mind and a sense of moral truth will discover that their opinions of Israel will shift in a radical way, as mine did.

justice or peace stand for both of them.even is jewish or palastine.the way this world moving u be ended up fighting which create blood for both side.and nobody is ready for die in this world.life is beautifull.

more friendly if u think whats been happening for last 60 years that was justice.

than regaurdless what me u decide, coz saudis forein minister last speech which he clear about terrorism.

untill they have palastine issue terrorism never gonna end.americans already change their policy.what more progress anybody waiting for in this issue.

So this is my first time on this site and it appears to be just more of the same. Israel is portrayed as being totally in the wrong, immmoral with the poor Palestinians as the victims. How about all of you doing a little homework? Israel ended up with territory because they kept getting attacked by the Arabs. Israel accepted the1948 partition plan. It was the Arabs who did not. It was the Arabs (millions of them I will remind you) who attacked the tiny number of Israelis. It was the Arabs who lost. Again in 1967, the Arabs set out to kill all of the Israelis but again Israel managed to survive.

Now the Arabs want it all back without even having the recognize Israel's right to exist. How did you manage to make Israel the bad guy?

I had hoped that this site would present both sides of the story but once again it is just full of lies and distorted history. I will not be back.

Prezzie Georgie! Chill out dude!
Stop trying to over-emphasize the Iran boats/American Warships issue, just because you're in Israel. That's called political taunting,on both sides! Not ethical or moral when your feet(when you step off the fine red carpet)are supposed to be in the Holy Land.I can almost here the big 'KAHUNA' shouting down,"George,Ehmud,Ahmadinejad, DON'T MAKE ME COME DOWN THERE BOYS."
This is something that happens almost DAILY in the Straits of Hormuz,it's called daily routine mental'workout'.Where international oceans/seas meet, there are CONSTANT incursions from BOTH sides.Ask the 5th Fleet when you get to Manaama, they'll tell you,and come on,YOU know it already,'Arbusto'.
It's been going on for years already! Heck, they get so close to each other sometimes they could almost kiss each other! WOW! Then maybe we could ALL be friends?
So,don't try and tie in this minor daily(almost)incident as a major thing for the media, just because you're visiting the region Dubya! Regularly, both sides sail up to international water borders and pull faces at each other! It's like Pirates of the Cari-Bahrain!
At least each side STILL have luxurious waters to sail!
The Palestinian people(as well as others internationally)have practically NO water to drink, swim in,visit at the beach etc because it's all been illegally procurred or cordoned off by occupying forces in uniform with guns(or machetes),barbed wire and iron-walls!
-and jbello! they do sometimes say that the Arab press are 'capitalizing on pain' but not all viewers see it as that.Media always has some vulture trait because pain sells news, sadly! But it shouldn't be ignored either, because it's the daily truth to many people. There's not much else Palestine CAN capitalize on anyway! If people there just film clearly, record, report daily events, then other people cannot say they weren't informed or told the truth.Thank goodness channels like Mosaic and the web-sites can get a variety of channels and information to those who want to know what is happening outside their borders(never mind inside their borders,as well!)The final interpretation of 'the picture'is up to the individual, but at LEAST they have the choice because freedom of knowledge is becoming a luxury in the States!
So Bush-baby,when you get to Bahrain I would say enjoy the local fish but it's probably saturated with oil-pollution from the tankers! Sorry, guess you'll have to use the local kosha McDonalds LOL! And don't forget to ask the 5t Fleet, about the speedboats, coz' they exchange'party-faces' with Iranian 'mariners' regularly, it's the 'norm',sadly!
Alas,where international waters kiss..........
