Yes! I too felt bad for him.He tred VERY hard. I checked on the websites for any updated news,but nothing!
Maybe the same team would do a follow-up program.

I watched this doc on him last year and felt so badly for him'; and also have been wondering what has happened to him ever since. thanks for posting the question.

The documentary 'Raging Dove'about the welter-weight boxer Johar Abu Lashin was extremely interesting and very moving, and his life was at such a difficult crossroad when the documentary finished.
I see it was finished in 2002.
What has happened to Johar since then?
Perhaps you should do a follow up programme to it!
And,the Spotlight series,'Russian Godfathers' is excellent too.
