I am so disgusted with the Judicial Oversight Committee! What a bunch of lily-livered pansies these supposed 'Rule of Law' public servants ARE!
They should come down on Muck-asey with a hammer,because he is playing them with concensual spin!
With every pause in his replies,it's blatantly OBVIOUS that he's protecting the back of the war-criminal President and Veep and committing perjury!
And stop calling it "waterboarding"! They make it sound like a weekend sport recreation like surf-boarding or snow-boarding(which to SOME,obviously it is!).
Call it what it IS! DELIBARATE DROWNING which stops before the point of pulmonary death!Every time the Committee ask Muck-iface those loophole-lined questions,they endorse TORTURE! We hear them whisper polite words such as "troubled","concerned" etc.Where are their balls? Or is it part of the Congressional initiation,that they are all CASTRATED before taking their seats?
a/g muckasey(I'll give him capital letters when he earns them) is insulting the intelligence,ethics and morals,of the American people! Ask him if he would drown his kids,even if they chose to turn AGAINST America? NOOOOOO!
Those at fault are not just people like Mukasey,he is paid to be a pansy puppet of this corrupt administration!
The fault also lies within the pansies of the Judicial Oversight Committee for not having the guts to STAND UP FOR HUMAN RIGHTS!
They should be DEMANDING STRAIGHT answers,accountability,RATIONAL/LEGAL JUSTIFICATION of all these unconstitutional actions,(including wire-tapping and retro-active immunity for tele-comm co's) on BEHALF of the people,for the people!
That's what they VOWED to do,under oath!
They must remember that the ones carrying out this torture of near-death drowning are our guys and gals IN NATIONAL(not private contractor)UNIFORM who are supposed to uphold the ethical,moral and spiritual Geneva Conventions,but also don't want to disobey orders from 'superiors'on fear of losing their jobs!
The saddest part is,is that near-death drowning is one of least brutal(if possible,because EVERY torture is brutal) of the MANY MANY torture techniques throughout history.They don't even mention the other atrocities in the corporate media,that we know go on!
If Muck-in-the-eye Mukasey can't admit to the American people that near-death drowning is a form of torture(which we ALREADY know),he doesn't deserve the title of a/g! And,if the Judicial Oversight Committee doesn't grow some new testicles, you may as well put them in a REAL circus!
