My opinion,

I lived in Tehran, Iran in the mid 1970's and frankly I never felt the Iranian people wanted to kill me and I wandered all over the city.

I think if Empress Farah Pahlavi of Iran and her family were back on the Throne in Iran their Country would be alot better off than with Irans current Government.

I love the Iranian people and I love their Country and History. I hope one day to live there again with all my Persian friends.

Yes Evelyn, that would get ordinary, everyday people talking and laughing together.
Both sides, right now, seem to have Governments, with personal agendas, that don't give a damn about what,or how, their own citizens think or feel.Almost as if they don't need our votes any more due to access to corruption. And they don't move "blindly" into war.Their myopic eyes are WIDE open, with planning, financing and intent!
My own heart bleeds, because it looks like the Iranian/Syrians and USA/Al Saud's 'big-boys' already have their PROXY(budget)war, hosted on Palestinian and Lebanese soil.My heart goes out to all the innocent people, childen caught inbetween this tenet of 'The enemy of my enemy is my friend..'(UNTIL that enemy is dead, then all bets are off!)
Who's next? WHO are the "infidels" now? Considering there is only one God(whatever the religion),Islam's faiths are so divided,it looks almost Pagan!
Enough is Enough,IS ENOUGH!
Peace,Tolerance and Plurality! Is that so much to ask?

I'd like to see a Citizen Diplomacy movement between Americans and Iranians. If people connected to each other, it would be harder to move so blindly towards war ...

Everyone will suffer in war, as is the current case in Iraq...

There are NO winners in war!
(Lot's of Wieners though)

Only diplomacy, and understanding, Will prevail when dealing with so many diverse cultures, and opinions...
(Variety is the spice of life)

Especially in a region engaged in religious conflict for more than a thousand years...(Muhammad, or Muhammad's cousin...That is the question)

In my opinion, it is very arrogant on our part to claim democracy by force, will improve any situation, anywhere in the world...(Can't we all just get along)

Bring back the corny, but meaningful saying..."Make Love, Not War!"

Just my 2 cents, with a slight humorous spin...
Thank you for allowing my voice, to be read.

Iranian president Ahmed Nijadi was mastermind of US Embassy hostage drama at Tehran in 1979. Ahmed Nijadi is inviting US agression like Sadam did. Can anyone from Muslim world convince me that Ayatollahs will win an all out war with USA?
