Asphalt

I posted this in the Earth Focus thread by mistake. And please forgive my
punctuation. In the news the other day I saw where there were plans in the
making. Of a super highway. From Mexico on up through Canada. (Getting ready
for the Northern passage no doubt.) I also saw on the Discovery channel how
they are using fifteen layers of asphalt per lane. If I`m not mistaken it was
six lanes each way. (Lots of trucks I suppose.) Also it was pointed out that
asphalt is waste petroleum sludge. The same thing just spilled in the San Francisco Bay area. Think about it, asphalt is the same thing covering Prince William Sound,Iraq and Equador. Just to mention a few. They mix this sludge and now waste synthetic rubber, which is waste petroleum. With gravel, and you have asphalt. Even the fertilizer Ammonia is from natural gas. Look at all our parking lots and roads
now. In Equador they put the sludge on the dirt roads to keep down the dust. Do you not remember they did the same here in this country years ago. How much of this stuff can we put on the surface of our Earth. I don`t think people realize that the oil industry and other corporations are already at war to continue this path into hell. Ron.
