I agree brad,each person is one vote,but even though I AM ONE VOTE only,my pos/neg opinions are scattered in different directions,to ALL those who are EMPLOYED and PAYED to protect our votes,freedoms and Democracy.
I write CONSTANTLY to my local Senators,newspapers AND MANY OTHERS out of my State to express my opinions,anger,disgust and fear of what I see happening to MY COUNTRY and to the process of Rule Of law of-by-for the people!
I write to Senators and Reps in the House,NOT BY E-MAIL,because a lot of those just get shredded as 'spam' at their end!
I send my opinions through the mail,and ALWAYS request a response.You have a RIGHT to hear from your representatives!
And,I am NEVER afraid to express my negative opinions because I know they are for the purpose of a POSITIVE America,high on ethics and morals!
And never forget that those guys and gals in Washington our OUR PUBLIC SERVANTS,and NOT visa versa!!!
The more the arrogance of power that goes to their heads and egos ,the MORE the blood supply is atrophied to their 'balls'(proverbially speaking)of courage,and ability to stand with their ethical principles,National pride and voters,instead of KOW-TOW-ing to adminstrative self-agenda,unscrupulous lobbyists and illegal threats/harassment from within!

I don't give MY PRECIOUS VOTE TO ANYONE,I study them,read on them,listen to my instincts and common sense and last but not least, they have to bloody well EARN MY VOTE or lose it for good! And my families!
I think Washington D.C. is actually an alien colony from the far off galaxy Anus Horribilis! And when we elect our in-state politicians to trot off to D.C. to represent us,THEY ARE ACTUALLY KIDNAPPED(renditioned extraordinarily) ON THE WAY AND GIVEN brain transplants that resemble campaign cabbages!
Because,within a year sometimes,the persons YOU send to represent you ARE UNRECOGNISABLE from the straight talking 'home boy/girl' you sent,and begin to speak a different tongue i.e. 'Anus-ish',Codswallop,Landfill-ian or Orwellian Newspeak! LOL!
If you are sick of your cowardly,chicken-s**t Senators and House Reps being a pain in YOUR National patriotic 'butt',then you should start to be a regular pain in THEIR Capitol butts,and make sure they EARN their salaries and LUXURY BONUSES by doing the right thing BY PROTECTING YOUR VOTE,The Rule of Law,YOUR RIGHTS,and the beloved Constitution!
My family and friends have decided to do the Greg Palast(The Election Files)thing!
-We are going to go down to vote as early as possible,in November,to allow time to correct 'errors'!
-NO MAIL-IN VOTES,because they will disappear to that OTHER near galaxy,'Shreddit Prontos'!
-We want Paper ballots only(No rigged machines)and demand take-home RECEIPTS that tally! Because THOSE RECEIPTS ARE YOUR LEGAL DOCUMENT,and PROOF of voting and choices!
-We are going to go in groups of six(male and female),with copies of birth/marriage certificates,drivers licenses,and property-tax receipts! Whatever it takes!
So there is NO EXCUSE to doubt our registration validity,
-and,if we incur ANY problems,i.e.caging,challenging,rejection etc the officials will get some strong verbal argument too!
Then we all plan to go out for a meal together AFTERWARDS,have some fun and later pray for the impeachment/trials of war-criminals like Bush,Cheney,Rice etc!

Don't EVER feel powerless bradbee,it's your vote!
YOU FIGHT FOR,AND DEFEND,IT!
Those politicians ARE YOUR PUBLIC SERVANTS,spending YOUR MONEY!

I REMEMBER THE 2000 ELECTION WHEN THE FLORIDA VOTE SCANDAL WENT TO CONGRESS I REMEMBER SOME MEMBERS OF CONGRESS CHALLENGED THE OUTCOME OF THE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS BUT IN ORDER TO BRING AN OFFICIAL INVESTIGATION THE OPPOSING CONGRESSMAN OR WOMAN HAD TO HAVE ONE AND ONLY ONE SENATOR TO STAND ALONG SIDE THE CONGRESSMEN BUT NOT ONE SENATOR TOOK UP THE OPRITUNITY TO DO ANYTHING.ALL I HAVE IS ONE VOTE AND A VOICE I HOPE TO REMIND ANYONE WHO READS THIS TO REMEMBER THOSE SENATORS WHO DID NOT TAKE UP THE FIGHT TO ENSURE THAT OUR VOTES COUNT.PLEASE REMIND THESE SENATORS THAT IF YOUR VOTE DOES NOT COUNT MAKE SURE THESE SENATORS DONT GET YOURS. The sad thing is,there are so many American voters,in the past,who either:

Don't care-
Or, don't KNOW that this 'stuff' goes on,right under their blocked up noses! They have to WAKE UP!

YOU PROBABLY DIDNT THINK MUCH ABOUT IT.BUT IF YOU LOOKED AT THE NUMBERS THERE IS A STORY.ON THE DEMOCRATIC SIDE THERE WAS ROUGHLY 390 THOUSAND VOTERS WHO VOTED FOR ONE OF THE TWO DEMO.CANDIDATES ON THE REPUBLICAN SIDE ROUGHLY 150 THOUSAND VOTERS PARTICIPATED IN THE PRIMARY.THE STATE OF MISS.IS UNIQUE IT HAS A BLACK POPULATION OF ABOUT 65 TO 70 PERCENT.THAT ONLY LEAVES ROUGHLY 28TO 30 SOME ODD PERCENT WHITES.THE STATE HAS TWO WHITE REPUBLICAN STATE SENATORS AND A WHITE REPUBLICAN GOV.IF THE STATE OF MISSISSIPPI DOES NOT GO TO OBAMA SHOULD HE WIN THE NOMINATION.LOOK NO FURTHER FOR YOUR PROOF OF VOTER FRAUD IN THE U.S.
