And if those companies are reaping in billions from the sickness and delibarate spread of cancer and life-threatening diseases then they SHOULD BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE,strictly under the Rule Of Law that protects the people and NOT protected by the legal loop-holes(which are felonies) which place them ABOVE and immune from the law!
There is NO QUESTION,about their negative actions and therefore what should be mandatory accountablility and punishment.
We have a LAWLESS administration who defend lawless Corporations,who blatantly profit from death and maiming.
The people in southern Iraq,Kuwait,Qatar etc and ANYWHERE the winds happen to blow the DU for the next countless centuries have ALL THE PROOF/EVIDENCE they need to claim BILLIONS BACK in compensation which would STILL not adequately compensate them for the unconscienable actions of OUR lawless(or SEEMINGLY 'above the law') maniacs who put the buck first,before any GOOD CONSCIENCE and humanity, and use other nationals/nations as guinea-pigs and sewage pits for OUR human or scientific EXCREMENT!
What about OUR OWN men and women,in the forces who were KNOWINGLY given inadequate equipment and deficient protective clothing for HANDLING the DU? They are now at home dying slowly because of an adminstration who chose to NEGLECT and OFFEND them,rather than PROTECT and DEFEND.
They have EVERY RIGHT,AND written/MATERIAL PROOF to justifiably drag those SOB's arses through every high-court in the land!
What about the armed forces personnel who were injected with INADEQUATELY UNTESTED VACCINES prior to military engagement? And came home with chronic muscular,neural,psychological,immunological health problems,then LOST THEIR JOBS AND HEALTH INSURANCE COVERAGE!!! Talk about tossing out your 'garbage'!
When do service-personnel go from being patriotic defenders to EXPIRED AND USELESS GARBAGE to toss on the human heap ????

I love America and it's people and that's why I am OUTRAGED by lawless administrators who strut about, supposedly representing US,the USA,and who lie to our faces,WITHOUT BLINKING,and do things to other innocents that WE AS ORDINARY PEOPLE would NEVER dream of doing,because we have a CONSCIENCE and can tell the different levels of right and wrong!
As an American I am ASHAMED of what we ALLOW our 'mentors' and corporations to get away with. By allowing their politicaland criminal IMPOTENCE to reign supreme,we merely display our OWN IMPOTENCE as citizens for of GOOD CONSCIENCE!
'They' continue to use American citizens as LAB-RATS to test on,IN THE FIELD,to boot,whilst profitting from the sales of UNDER-TESTED and dubious drugs,pharmaceuticals et al.
Shouldn't it be that they:
-TEST AND EXPERIMENT FIRST,in controlled scientific conditions,
-then having proven the safety of the product,
-present their FULL reports to the scientific world,for further analysis.
-And ONLY THEN,if approved,by independant experts,on an international PANEL,
-FISCALLY PROFIT from the safe retail of the said PROVEN AND SAFE product???

And why do WE, the citizens,ALLOW them to continue with this discounted,speed-induced 'death by experiment' mess, rather than investing in a solid 'life through proven testing' universal system?
Restore the Rule Of law across the board,NO EXCEPTIONS,with accountability as A PRIORITY for professional felony and COUNTLESS misdemeanours.
Strip the Corporations of their legal AND IMMORAL immunity and make them pay for defaming our world-wide reputation and committing MAJOR FELONIES,knowingly,through negligence,against our own people AND OTHERS ABROAD!
It's not just the "energy giants" that are to blame Ron,we are complicit in their crimes by not holding them accountable and standing back and saying,"No I will not be party to this"!
My conscience even told me,eight years ago,to transfer ALL INVESTMENTS or stocks etc,in ANY MORALLY/CRIMINALLY DUBIOUS COMPANY who profitted from blatant human-rights abuse,or bad chemical/drug track record here AND ABROAD .
I never lost money,by spreading it in more healthy areas,I slept better at night,
and if the small gesture I could make,would make SOME difference in preventing the blatant abuse of life,then it was the LEAST I could do,to begin with.
But the ones who should be paying compensation for cold heartless destruction are those at the top decision-tables who know EXACTLY WHAT THEY ARE DOING,before it's done, and how much PROFIT they glean from the death and tragedy of 'cannon-fodder'.
If we have any conscience left,we can't allow public-servants WITHOUT CONSCIENCE to direct our childrens future or morals,and then burst into tears and complain 'DOWN-TRODDEN'! UNFAIR! ETC ETC.
One of those "hot-spots" Ron is the USA! If we don't start here,we won't achieve anything else,ANYWHERE ELSE!

And even the medical giants in this society. GE and the pharmaceuticals expect to reap billions from the people exposed to the radiation caused by the depleted

The future aint too bright Ron,BUT IT CAN BE BRIGHTER, because we are always capable of better, if we are ready to seek it out.

I remain an optimistic realist.One can only remain apathetic until one is pushed into a corner,then the survival instinct kicks in,to hold on to something that's better,and livable and VERY ATTAINABLE.
Perhaps it's because I see the MAJORITY of humans as being inherently GOOD,who prefer peace,stability,sanity and health.
And I still believe that those who would spread harm,death and destruction are definately IN THE MINORITY and will eventually fail,because like all weak viruses,they will have nothing to feed on! As long as the majority of humanity refuse to SUSTAIN them.

I agree with most of what the original poster said except half of the suicide bombers point. When the monks where sacrificing themselves they were just killing themselves. The suicide bombers take unwilling participants with them. I could be sitting down eating lunch at an street-side cafe and the next minute be blown to pieces.
I think human beings will only react after the fact and not as prevention. So by the time things get really bad it will already be too late. My outlook on the future of humans is grim, but that's just my opinion

Ron, I had a coffe-bar and used to show films, like the ones you can get on LinkTV (with social content)to my customers in order to attract business. Afterwards we would discuss the film and let people comment.
It was so succesful I had a hard time to serve and at the same time moderate the discussions.
I believe we are going through a situation when people are aware things are going wrong, according to the polls (80% of the people), so I think it's a good time for you to use the contents in LinkTV as a point of discussion. Perhaps you'll have to record a particular one in order to show it at a time convenient for your business and the customers (say dinner time?).
You'll have to advertise it at least at your restaurant with a sign and make it a regular thing (once a week?) and perhaps offer an enticer like desert or pop for those who stay. Perhaps you'll discover you won't need to offer anything as enticement any more since people will enjoy the exchange enough to come .

The best would be to choose a theme that resonates with the town where you live, something people can identify with.
