Our thoughts and prayers are with Sami,
He has been treated so ILLEGALLY,by OUR legislators! Against the Geneva Conventions, against International Justice and against the American Constitution and Bill of Rights. They have made him guilty BEFORE being proven so in a court of civil LAW! That's not American,OR DEMOCRATIC,it's just 'BushCheneyan'.
DISGRACEFUL!
In fact the very judiciary people who were responsible for abusing the Constitution and Conventions are the VERY PEOPLE who are NOW BEING INVESTIGATED for WAR-CRIMES ! And about bloody time! There is so MUCH EVIDENCE BUILDING UP AGAINST THEM. Which is more than can be said for the 'EVIDENCE' AGAINST Sami!
Bush,Cheney,Rumsfeld,Rice and ALL THEIR LAWYERS including Gonzales,Addington and Yuu,are the ones who should be on trial,in International Court for misappropriating the Constitution,Abuse of the Bill of Rights and blatant lying and COVER-UPS,which is perjurous to their OATH OF OFFICE and counter-productive to the safety and security of the American people!!!!
I believe Sami should be RELEASED IMMEDIATELY and give his jail cell to Bush and Cheney,oh and, throw Rice in too.
If she had not IGNORED,or undervalued ALL THE NSA's and CIA's PDB's(Presidential Daily Bulletins)in the spring and summer of 2001,URGING THAT A TERRORIST THREAT ON US soil was VERY immenent,9/11 may very well NOT HAVE HAPPENED!!!And 3,500 people would not have died and left families to mourn their loss.
But then the White house wouldn't have HAD THEIR EXCUSE TO invade Iraq,to get on Iran's DOORSTEP?????
Hummm! I wonder why SHE DID IGNORE THEM?????
Funny how all the pieces seem to fit together, very rationally in the White House 'mosaic'?
Whatever the evidence against Sami(if any!) we have a right to hear it in a civil court,as does he.
Stay safe Sami and don't let the ba*****s grind you down!
Peace,Salaam,Shalom!
In February 2003, the FBI arrested university professor and political activist Sami Al-Arian in Tampa, Florida. Charged with supporting the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (classified as a terrorist organization by the State Dept.), he was placed in solitary confinement for two and a half years before receiving a trial. Today, Al-Arian, who is diabetic, is on a hunger strike in protest of his continued imprisonment beyond his scheduled release date after being acquitted in a jury trial. His health is deteriorating rapidly, as his food and water strike nears the one-month mark. LINK TV presents the U.S. television premiere of USA vs AL-ARIAN, an intimate documentary portrait of an Arab-American family facing terrorism charges laid by the U.S. Department of Justice. This timely documentary premiers on U.S. television on the five-year anniversary of Al-Arian’s incarceration.
USA vs AL-ARIAN is the personal story of the Al-Arian family, who like many Muslims in the U.S. today, are navigating the new laws and political climate of post-9/11 America. The film follows Al-Arian, his wife Nahla and their five American-born children throughout the trial and its aftermath as they fight terrorism charges. This powerful documentary also explores themes of freedom of speech, civil liberties and the right to a fair trial. It is an up-close family portrait that documents a battle waged both in court and in the media.
