the first mistake in your post is not seperating the American government with the American people. They are not the same entity.....and I'm not a fan of Lacrosse.

There is something that has been bothering me for, .. a couple of decades:
 We gno that the American public, doesn’t ‘give-a-damn’, what the world thinks of them, .. unless they are in the middle of losing a war, badly.
For this reason alone, .. we hold our tongues on many issues, for fear of being the next bombing target.
Now,.. a brave little Semitic family in what was once called Persia, is sacrificing some 300 persons a day,… & costing America 10 Billion $/month,.. to put an end,.. to what we have all hated since 1812.

America’s notion,.. that, if they can see it,.. they own it.
-1812 was the last physical invasion of Canada. Our Mohawk/Iroquois, chased the punks back to D.C. & set fire to the “Out-house”. (This is why it had to be painted “White”). Lacrosse is a wonderful game.
