Grassroots---my veggie garden is progressing just fine, I wasn't going to grow much this year until I saw the prices in the store for what they call vegetables--sad. My mini orchard is progressing well also. And I don't even miss eating meat.

It's not that everyone is "pushing for Obama",it's what he stands for--the best of what America is.
I think it's just that Americans and THE REST of the world,are sick of the US White House occupants and politicians GENERALLY,espousing,so piously,the 'wonders' of Democracy is this land of so many 'freedoms'.
WHEREAS,in reality,the U.S. adminstrations of the last three decades,AT LEAST,resemble more of a cross between a military fundamentalist dictatorship,and a colonialist imperialistic monarchy! LOL!
And that's NO JOKE,to people like me who hold,high,the values of the Constitution and Bill of Rights etc,above war-mongering,resource-grabbing,liars and traitors,of which I would Bush at the front of the list.
I don't even think of what colour Obama is,OR his ethnicity/faith.
We all bleed red and are ALL equally accountable for our crimes/sins etc.
And I think he understands that well.
My priority is his HONEST potential and strength for the future,both of which appear to be very PROMISING!
He is sharp,intelligent,rational,funny and far less elitist,and nowhere near as negatively arrogant,as dynastic dinosaurs like Hilarity Tin-Clone and John McCain,who is TOO OLD for President and knows very little about the rest of the planet,culturally OR politically,and I don't care how many times he's visited Iraq for a few media sound-bites.Remember-he was the idiot who,VERY UNDIPLOMATICALLY,joked about bombing Iran,with no feeling,or show of intelligent OR humane compassion for the Iranian grassroots people.

I like Obama's integrity,calmness,patience,morals.
His charisma,of NORMALITY helps,his approachability is a plus and one can't ignore INSTINCTS,gardener,and I feel in my ole' bones that he shoots straight and is trustworthy AND GOOD for America as a whole Nation and INDIRECTLY,any nation who still CARES TO have friendly relations with us.
Bush alientated the USA on this planet and made us no better,in public image,
than many other human-rights abusers and corrupt practitioners.
That's not fair on ordinary American citizens who have to pick up that cr**,and count the international body-bags and graves when Bush and Cheney etc,waltz off to count their 'cha-ching'war-profits,and wait for the coming of the rapturous Zion blah,blah,blah LOL!
As if two-faced lying hypocrits of war,like them will ACTUALLY be allowed in to Gods mighty 'bank'.LOL!

As a gardener,gardener,even you must have pride in your land and prefer to sow good healthy seeds,and solid roots,that benefit the garden,as a whole,
rather than stand by and watch the pests move in and spread their abuse and germs.

Even today,he is talking of changing Democratic funding processes,and doing away with funding from vulture special-interest lobbyists.I would be proud to pay 3 to
10 bucks a year for a Democratic Party that relied on,and came BACK to,the people of America,and what THEY want and need.

May I share with you what faith is? Remember you are a spiritual being, faith does not work in your head, faith works in your heart. What does a farmer do with natural seed? He plants it into the soil of the earth. So Grassroots, this is how you plant the seed of God's Word into your spirit man. So then faith comes by hearing, you hearing yourself say what God says about you in His Word? Uh oh! Have you read His Word in the Bible?
Allow me to share something with you. When the Rev. Jeremiah Wright was quoted out of context in the secular media as saying something like You want me to say God bless America, but no I say god damn America. That was a double entendre, a play on words to the Biblically literate. Here is what Rev. Jeremiah Wright was saying: Look at Second Corinthians 4:3-4 in the New Living Translation:If the Good News we preach is veiled from anyone, it is a sign that they are perishing. Satan, the god of this evil world, has blinded the minds of those who do not believe, so they are unable to see the glorious light of the Good News that is shining upon them. Rev Jeremiah Wright has been doing what preachers do, sharing the Word of God in a dramatic manner in order to get his congregants to open up the Word of God and study it for themselves. And if nothing else, you Grassroots have found out that there are Biblically literate people with the love of God in their heart that are willing to share that love with you.
Here is something you may want to consider before putting Jeremiah Wright in his place, Rev. Jeremiah Wright is God's servant and who is the secular media to judge him? That excerpt was a few years old, it was intended to hurt Barack Obama.
Here is another little tidbit for you: When the Supreme Court of the United States of America decided unilaterally and apart from Congressional action, that the First Amendment was to narrow in its wording and decided to include atheism and secular humanism by expanding the meaning of the First Amendment to cover others who have no religious beliefs,Thierault v. Silber 1977, this august body damned America by removing prayer from the public schools in 1962. It is not that students prayed, it is that God was welcomed. Lawyers are wordsmiths; they know how to make an argument, how to refocus and argument and how to redirect the question. So Washington Politics needs change. What is transpiring seems very suspicious to me. Most everyone is "pushing" for Obama to be the next "president". But why? If he does get elected, what are "they" going to do to him to rub him out and prove that the US could not possible have a half breed simi-African American in the white house? What he should be calling himself is an Euro-African American. And when is he going to reveal that his real underling believe system is Muslim??

It's sad,but I am pleased that Barack Obama has realised that the ham-actor cum pasteur and 'not very' reverend Jeremiah Wright is behaving like an idiot and certainly isn't doing his church any favours by trying to grab Obamas spotlight to tout his OWN 'humble' ego!
And it must have been difficult for Barack to make such a decision,but OBVIOUSLY he's very RATIONALLY realised that one egotistic reverend does NOT A FAITH MAKE!
After seeing Wright wallowing in his OWN pious glory on the media,he no longer seems to be the person that Obama once looked up to.
OR,Obama has just realised that BOTH their lives are changing and besides their faith they have VERY LITTLE,common-sensically,in COMMON!
Wright has always been a good speaker,but since his congregational member(Barack) hit the political and media spotlight,Wrights pulpit-ego has spilled too much onto the media street and if Wright had had a humbler side he WOULD HAVE REALISED that his ego-ride would only reflect badly on Obama. Tut Tut! Jerry!
It wouldn't be so bad if he had kept his 'pious' ego IN the pulpit.
But Jeremiah,man,you couldn't resist the limelight,could you?
Maybe you should take a sabbatical and reflect on your own goals and means.
