Frenchie Nicholas Zarkosy spoke well when he said that Jerusalem should be a city for ALL FAITHS and races equally and not just a Jewish human enterprise.
I believe that Jerusalem is a Holy City and a spiritual destination of people of ALL FAITHS.
No one people OR FAITH,has a right to claim ownership of Jerusalem.
It has, throughout history, been a city of VARIOUS 'occupiers',no doubt. BUT,there is no getting away from the common-sensical fact that it is a city of ALL FAITHS and no ONE faith or people have SACROSANCT right to claim ownership.
As long as Jerusalem is a city of the one God,and ALL men/women ARE equal in the eyes of God,then logic bears witness to the fact that Jerusalem is for ALL people of ANY FAITH for any spiritual need, and NOT the 'sacrosanct' property of ONE people of one faith alone.
It should be a OVERSEEN by The United Nations,on the basis that it is a planetary International Holy site and protected and shared by all, as such.
There should be ONLY one condition to entry into Jerusalem:
That all those, regardless of faith and race, who enter, should do so in peace and mutual respect.
No one faith has ANY divine right over another.
Jerusalem is a destination of the soul and spirit FOR ANY PERSON.
If it takes a United Nations MANDATE to ensure that Jerusaleam is treated with respect, equally,by all, then I'm with them and Monsieur Sar-'Tea'-Kozy.
Peace,Salaam,Shalom!
