Just how much faecal-smelling deceit,did Bush,Cheney,Rice and Rummie et al expect to keep covered up and FOR HOW LONG? Especially as everyone knows they have been abusing their public office from the get-go. It's just a matter of time and seeing those stinkin' leaks drip out of the pipeline.
Even Seymour Hersh and his article in the New Yorker shows how the military 'HIGH-UPS' and steadfast who remain honourably loyal to the original chain of command system,are beginning to back away from Bush and Cheney(especially the latter) as they realise that this adminstrations heavy stinking-fart tactics,of preemption WITHOUT IMMINENT THREAT,are heavier than nuclear fallout,and will probably take AS MUCH time to clear up.
And when Defence Secretary Gates admits,at a congressional inside-closed-door meeting,that he agrees(unofficially) with the original NIE and the military intelligence rather than The White House then you KNOW something is NOT QUITE Kosher,or safe,up on the hill!
Even Congress(TUT-TUT) must be really humiliated to learn that they were blindsided by Bush/Cheney and the 'gang' of 8,into funding extra-curricula covert ops in Iran,DESPITE the original NIE recommendations,and AGAINST the recommendations of most of Central Command and JCOS,and these are the guys WHO KNOW their real stuff,from THE MADE-UP STUFF,because they spend their WHOLE professional lives studying EVERY DETAIL,of miliatry strategy and in-field intel-info, and not just where the oil-pipelines run,"from sea to shining sea"!
How do Pelosi,Reid and Rockafeller etc feel now,knowing that they secretly passed U.S. TAX-PAYER funding that armed and enabled dissident Sunni groups in Iran(same as,and AS BAD AS,Al Qaeda, MAYBE EVEN Al Qaeda itself),to topple the Shiite religious Government of Iran and 'install' a more U.S.A. user-friendly one?
How long ago is it,that America funded the toppling of a Democratic regime in Iran and put in a U.S.friendly despotic SHAH? LOL!
Wonder if the gang of eight feel like ostriches?
Wonder if the rest of Congress,who were not IN on the info,are red-faced fuming with embarrassment?
Way to go Nut-Bush and Cheney-mania! Your lust for imperial power and control,at all costs and all the s**t it includes,is REALLY starting to hit the INTERNATIONAL 'FAN'!
It's going to be messy,you can bet your bottom dollar!
But then,a preemptive war against Iran,without "IMMINENT THREAT"(required by Internal law)would be EVEN MESSIER and have far more difficult global implications and bloodshed.

Jeeez! The 'walls' of international diplomacy and the 'paths' of Foreign Relations are really going to need some white-washing,restoration and improvement after this.
