You wonder what Bush saw in Putins eyes?
Remember this is Bush.He doesn't see VERY far AT ALL. Except his NEXT R.T.C.A. dinner 'JOKE'!
The same guy,that in 2004--

whilst Iraq was being invaded,troops/civilians blown to bits, killed and their LIVES,cities, daily lives DESTROYED around them, families grieving and mourning the loss of their loved ones in America and Iraq,
--was GIVING THIS SPEECH,in his TUXEDO,with a slide show filled with 'jokes' about Weapons of Mass Destruction.
Strange, how he didn't seem to think it was totally INAPPROPRIATE,when the REST of the world DID! Or maybe this "spiritual" 'born-again' creature just DID NOT CARE?

Retrospectively, and with ALL WE know now about this 'man' and his NEOCON cohorts
this is even more NAUSEATING to watch again.
But,think about what has happened since then, and all the blood and tears shed by THOUSANDS!

And remember, this is the GUY,with his bosom 'buddy' President Cheney, and Israel, who are PLAYING DANGEROUS POLITICAL GAMES,with Russia and Iran.
No weapons of mass destruction of any IMMEDIATE and DIRECT THREAT. Just Bush,Cheney and their neocon 'PRE-EMPTIVE MAD' mobsters.

Peace,Salaam,Shalom!

Isn't this guy dumb or what? Meanwhile the Russians are few miles away from the Georgian capital and Georgie is still wondering why he did not see this in Putin's eyes...an ex-KGB chief he fell in love with.

It is very unusual in the Middle East to turn on the television or read a newspaper without finding a major story about a new development in Iraq, Lebanon, Iran, Israel and Palestine. However, this week was different. The crisis in the Caucasus stole the headlines, but it was not for lack of important news in the Middle East. Just recently, Lebanon was rocked by another devastating explosion, tensions over Kirkuk continue, and the death of a Palestinian legendary poet brought tears to millions. But it was the Russian-Georgian confrontations which remained an important story with most news editors in the region linking the crisis in the Caucasus to what is happening in the Middle East.

"What goes around comes around." This is how one of the editorials in a major Arab newspaper described the Georgian ordeal. The writer went on to poke fun at Georgia for having to withdraw its troops from the occupation of Iraq, which it obviously approves of, to try to prevent a possible occupation of Georgia, which it seems to consider a bad idea.
