Hey E/H! KAIXO!
I agree with all you say!
Especially about China. What a farce! The ole' Lipstick on a pig job!
As much as I love the athletes I couldn't watch the media coverage, because of the hypocrisy!
Now we'll see what happens with all those 'NICE' detention pens(with barbed-wire and taser facilities)in Denver at the DNP convention.
You know the same ones that were so POOR IN AIR-CONDITIONING that they couldn't keep COMPUTER MACHINES in.
But,they ARE WILLING TO THROW HUMAN PEACE-ACTIVISTS who express their FREEDOM of Speech(what's LEFT of it) IN THERE TO FRY IN THE SUMMER HEAT!
Yes,God IS good E/H!
His essense is pure and his gifts are bountiful and beautiful!
It's just us humans who have a habit of throwing it all back in his face, like scrambled egg! LOL.
He gave us the WHOLE GIFT!
And we are NEVER satisfied! LOL!
Ikusi arte!
Isn't it great to live in a free country where we can all express our opinions without fear of being hauled away by the secret police? Look at what happened in Communist China during the Olympics: Beijing had promised the media freedom to report games and announced "Protest Parks" as part of efforts to address criticism of its human rights record and tight controls on internal dissent. International Olympic President Jacques Rogge said the games had helped to open up China but he expressed surprise that no permission had been granted for any of the protests. Indeed!! He should have not been surprised, knowing that Communist China is a totalitarian dictatorship.
Two elderly Chinese women were ordered to spend a year in a "labor camp" after applying to protest, though the women were still at home under surveillance. The Chinese Human Rights group said AIDS activist Wang Xiaoqiao, who has been detained for nine months, has been convicted and sentenced to one year in prison.
Believe me, all of the blog sites we enjoy in this country would be forbidden in Communist China, as well as Cuba, Iran, Saudi Arabia (and any of the Arab countries), Venezuela, you name it. Thank God for the USA!
I hope everyone is having a wonderful day. It is great to be able to go to Church and worship Almighty God, and thank Him for the many blessings of freedom He has poured out upon Humankind. I just wish that all people everywhere had the right to worship Him in truth and ask for His forgiveness. After all, we are all brothers and sisters and sons and daughters of our Heavenly Father. I am looking forward to the day when we all can live in peace upon this earth, with true "freedom and justice for all". it is up to each one of us to try to make it come to pass, in our small way.
By the way, Grassroots, where did you learn your Euskara? You seem to be quite conversant. Ever been to Euskal Herria? I have, several times. It's a beautiful country; my wife's grandmother came from Mendata, a small town in Bizkaia.
Oh EZ! E/H, LOL!
Don't be such a crabby wet blanket!
The Israeli Navy DOESN'T DO ANYTHING,when they know the world is WATCHING!
They usually do it under cover of DARKNESS or below the water WITH FROGMEN!
When the world ISN'T watching, all they do is fire missiles for practise,INTO Gaza, and harass the fishermen!
Feel the sunshine and the sea-breeze on your face FOR A MOMENT,and INCREASE your beating heart!
Just for the sake of all CHILDREN!
Ikusi Arte!
Peace,Salaam,Shalom!
Oh! Be still my heart! The vicious Israeli navy didn't "shiver their timbers"! I bet they are feted and lionized by Hamas! "Nice, good little Dhimmis; just believe all of our taqiyya and be sure to bring back the truth about the way Israel is trampling Palestinian human rights. (Oh, pardon us. We just received a fresh supply of Kassams and suicide belts; we have sizes for all ages of Jihadis, from 8 years old and up, and we also just got in a shipment of explosive materials for constructing IEDs. See you later on Palestinian TV; we will feature you on our childrens' program along with Farfour the Jew-hating mouse and our adorable Jew-eating rabbit!"
Coool! BOATS ARRIVE IN GAZA!
THAT'S FANTASTIC! BET THE KIDS ARE OVER THE MOON!
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!
Have OOOOODDDDDLLEESSS of fun with everyone!
Peace,Salaam,Shalom!
LOL! Kaixo,E/H!
"haram thing to say"?
Don't be direspectful. Ole'Neptune would be really offended!
Neptune is merely the 'prophet' of the ocean!
God is the creator of the oceans wide.
Neptune is just Gods chosen, gentle and wise guardian OF THE ELEMENT! LOL!
May he carry the FreeGaza boats calmly and safely to the the welcoming shores of the hospitable Palestinian people!
Hmmm-maybe they'll have an encounter with Davy Jone's Locker! "Peace" is impossible when Hamas' top dog Ismail Haneya said that liberating Jerusalem and the "holy" al-Aqsa Mosque can only be achieved through Jihad instead of "absurd peace talks". I trust there are no "splodeydopes" on board fitted out with their suicide vests?? Grassroots-what's this "Neptune" stuff? Remember-there is no god but Allah!!! That was a haram thing to say!
To quote Haneya: "The Liberation of Jerusalem and al-Aqsa Mosque can be achieved only through Jihad, blood, resistance and martyrdom and not through absurd peace talks."
I here would like to quote the following from Hugh Fitzgerald, who has penetrating insight into the doctrines of Islam:
"Such shining forthrightness should not be allowed to obscure the obverse of the medal: Hamas stands for Fast Jihad, but Fatah stands for Slow Jihad. They differ only on matters of tactics and timing. The terminally ill Olmert regime, like a patient suffering Alzheimer's who is persuaded on his deathbed to sign a document leaving everything to a distant and indifferent and least worthy relative, is determined, it appears, to sign away to Mahmoud Abbas what it has no right to do, for the Olmert regime lacks legitimacy. and it not only has no right to do so, it also exhibits no sense in attempting to do so, for it has failed to recognize the new understanding dawning among Infidels, and understanding not brought about by any great improvement in Israel's efforts at explaining itself, nor any great improvement in the largely atrocious and biased coverage of Israel's attempts to defend itself, but rather from the behavior of Muslims toward Infidels around the world. Each bomb attack on a bus in London, each slitting of the throats of Christian schoolgirls in Indonesia, each murder or threat of murder in Amsterdam or Denmark, each example of Muslim outrage, which in turn forces people, nolens-volens, to realize how absurd is the presentation of Islam as merely a "religion," and to listen more keenly to the articulate defectors from Islam, such as Wafa Sultan and Ayaan Hirsi Ali and Ali Sina and Ibn Warraq, and to those who, having grown up within the Muslim world as non-Muslims, have also managed to survive, get to the West, and to testify--all of this, and even the greater heed paid to the texts (and thus to the tenets) of Islam, have changed the situation for Israel, and will continue to do so. For much more of the outside world is willing to listen, and beginning to comprehend, that what the Arabs have done since the Six-Day War, that is to so carefully create out of the Gazan Arabs and the "West Bank" Arabs a totally fictitious "Palestinian People" (with lots of clever backdating), in order to misrepresent, through repackaging as a "war for the legitimate rights of the 'Palestinian' People" and to keep using phrases that juridically are simply false, such as that deadly word "occupied" (Israel, as the intended beneficiary of, and sole successor state to, the Mandate for Palestine, has a prior and convincing claim, should it choose to exercise it, to both Gaza and what the Jordanians renamed as "the West Bank," in addition to its claim to territory taken in a war of self-defense. It is absurd--but many things about the coverage of the Arab Muslim war on Israel are absurd--to keep talking about part of the territory allocated by the League of Nations, in its attempt to do justice, after the breakdown of the Ottoman Empire, to others among the many peoples of the Middle East, not just to the dominant and dominating Arabs, as "occupied" by Israel. it would be far more accurate to describe those portions of Judea and Samaria (as they have been known since before the time of Jesus, who had no trouble with those toponyms either) that compromise the soi-distant "West Bank" as "Arab-occupied parts of Judea and Samaria". How strange it sounds. But get it repeated ten thousand times, and it will not sound strange at all.
Those Muslim acts of aggression against non-Muslims, acts of aggression of every kind---for are not Muslim demands for changes in the very institutions, legal and political and social, of the Infidel nation-states that have so generously and heedlessly allowed Muslims to settle deep within, not acts of aggression of the most disturbing and threatening kind?--serve to push more and more Infidels into a state of receptivity to the truth, and in the case of Israel the truth is this: a Jihad is and always has been waged against it, and there is no "solution" to this Jihad based on further Israeli surrenders of tangible assets, and of Jewish claims (that Israeli governments have muted, or refused to articulate at all) based on appeals to law, history, and a sense of distributive justice or fairness (the Arabs have 22 states, with 14 million square miles of land, and untold natural resources and riches as a result; Israel is less than 1/1000th the size).
But the Olmert government consists of stolid, unimaginative. Yesterday's Men. They do not sense what is in the air. They have no idea how to capitalize on it. They should go, quickly, and any piece of paper that that government is tempted to sign with the Slow Jihadists of Fatah should be snatched from thei grasp, whatever it takes.
And the long-suffering Israeli public should demand a government not of recycled politicians who still cannot grasp the central relevance of Islam, much less discuss it either openly, or even with Western leaders in camera, to explain why the whole farce of peace-processing and negatiations and treaties made-to-be-breached by the Muslim side, following the example of Muhammad and the Meccans at Hudaibiyya, is over, and the age of Deterrence, of forcing the Arabs not to attack by invoking the doctrine of Necessity, or Darura, is the only way to keep the peace, and from here on out, that is the way it is going to be.
