After watching 'Democracy Now' this a.m. and the very upsetting situation of a man,Jeffery Wood,in prison,innocent of murder and due to be executed today,I called Governor Perry's Texas office,this p.m., as advised by his representative on 'Democracy Now',who asked viewers to call and apply pressure for a 'stay of execution', pending MORE INVESTIGATION.
The woman answering the Governors office phone sounded very harassed,LOL,so I can only assume that MANY VIEWERS responded to the request to call.
She politely,IF ABRUPTLY, said that "Governor Perry had granted a 'Stay of Execution' for Jeff Wood which was GREAT NEWS.
Hopefully the '30 day stay'will lead to a pardon as Jeff is obviously not a murderer!
GOOD ON YER' Governor Perry!!!
