The poll is just that a poll and is highly challenged. Not only that it includes all deaths regardless of the cause and the terrorists and insurgents themselves as well as THEIR victims.
I think Wikipedia analyzed it very objectively and one can draw their own conclusions about the validity of the numbers in both POLLS you sighted.I have seen how these type of studies are often done and in many cases they reflect the politics of the polsters more then they represent the facts. Like I said before if there was any wholesale slaughter on the part of our soldiers like you insist then we would be seeing piles of bodies on the evening news around the world.

Not much of a crowd when you consider that the Democratic organizers of the rally plastered the papers and airways with ads encouraging their people to come for over a week before hand. Added to that I'm sure the liberal left flew in quite a few of their best trouble makers as well.
If you take the time to read the local papers up there you will find that many of the locals were appalled at the crudeness of many of the DEMONSTRATORS and the kind of filth scrawed on many of the signs.
