*NEWSFLASH* Homosexual images exist in mainstream culture. This is because we know more now than we ever have about homosexuality, and in the same way that African-Americans have been integrated into mainstream media, so too has begun the integration of homosexuality. This is because being exposed to images that are different than WHITE HETEROSEXUAL CHRISTIAN AMERICANS is the only way to help the majority of the population understand the minority.

When your kids see a same-sex couple holding hands or kissing, the explanation is simple... you say to your children "Most boys marry girls, and most girls marry boys, this is because a boy and a girl together make a baby. But, sometimes there are boys who are born to love other boys and girls who are born to love other girls. There is nothing wrong with this, and if you grow up to be either one of those, I will love you just the same. As long as you are happy, I am happy."

And, whose rule is for creation and growth? Does that mean that heterosexual married couples who choose not to have children are wrong? How about the hundreds of thousands of gay couples who have opened their homes to orphaned children? Is that not something we need in our society? Somehow, I doubt that you know a gay family, but if what you're saying is true, it's not the child's shame that is to blame here. It's the intolerant and uneducated parents like you who have created an uncomfortable environment for them.

It is a tired excuse, ‘for the children’, .. generally bandied about by those with the emotional development of children.
It is easy enough to explain the forced gender separation/alienation …starting near after birth. (which creates homosexual environments,.. )
--Sure the insanity of gender separation, has the puritanical/perverse intent of preventing; seeing, knowing, doing sex, .. out of the controlled environment approved by god, .. but is it healthy?
There is a certain sociopathy, described as normalisy, which teaches children, to shun & objectify, those who walk a different path.
It has been said that, some children, (those of fundamentalist Christians), arrive at kindergarten, mentally ill. They, at this age, have already been programmed to be at odds with all who do not follow their faith. Perhaps it is THEIR parents, who should not be allowed to marry. Seeing that anti-gay-marriage sentiments, are in fact, generally, ANTI-SEX sentiments, .. perhaps, forced sterilization of bigots, (to prevent the creation of more bigots), is in the public interest. After all, this would relieve the tension, of the confirmed bigot, .. now having an excuse to not do that which they really do not wish to do. (Nor see others do).

I think it will be difficult to explain to one's child when they see two females kissing in public or two guys kissing in public. Once they have the legal right, you can't tell them that they cannot display amorous affection in public or on television- this will include cartoons as well. It will be totally twisted and preverted.I can just imagine the plots to soap operas then! In this world the rule is for creation and growth. Two guys and two girls can never reproduce life naturally. The match is void from the inception. I have personally known kids that have same sex partners and they NEVER have invited their friends over to the house.
They were ashamed to the core. It is a lousy way to grow up when growing up is difficult enough in its self. I am totally against it!

Personally, I care more about; Cannibalism amongst the orphaned dogs of Eretria, than the legislated ‘rights’ of American homosexuals.

OK, everyone can see that Jagib is a bag of nuts. I move to return this conversation BACK to the issue of legalizing gay marriage and actually calling it marriage.

YES, gay marriage should be legal! It's a complex issue, but at the core is the simplistic concept of equal rights. IF you are allowing one group of people to have a certain right, denying that right to another group IS DISCRIMINATION... plain and simple.

Also, the legislation of "MARRIAGE IS ONE MAN AND ONE WOMAN" will never pass because of the Mormons. The Mormons, who are polygamists and allowed to do so because of their religion, are ironically against gay marriage because it's "harmful to the sanctity of marriage" LOL

The idea of SANCTITY or INSTITUTION or TRADITION of marriage is hilarious to me, because for thousands of years, marriage was seen as a business arrangement. In order to argue on either side of this issue, you must examine the history of marriage. After doing so, you will realize that this whole concept of "protecting traditional marriage" is just another lunatic proposition put forth by Christians who love using the Bible to hate.

Also, quick reminder- Interracial marriages weren't allowed by law until 1964, and the religious nuts were onboard then stating that it was unnatural to marry outside of your own kind!!

Another good argument for gay marriage, is that it's going to boost the economy:) IMAGINE all of the money being spent on ceremonies, dresses, tuxes, caterers, renting halls, and gift registries!!

God will open the direct line. then all you have to do is follow and believe nd trust in Him.

there are many names for God. Down through the ages He has been called by many names. it does not matter what He is called,as long as we have a mono-theistic belief and know that God is very Holy and place know other gods before Him.

if one was to try to approach God from a place of darkness or wrong-doing, He will turn away from that person, and they will not find Him. Here is where the issue of homosexuality becomes a stumbling block to God. Homosexuality is the will of man, not the will of God.

by alternative packaging i mean calling the union of same sexes a MARRIAGE makes jagib and co learn scripture by heart to be able to cite it as argumentation. could we not just call it something else but keep all the social benefits of marriage. ei: visitation rights in hospitals, tax declaration, legal stuff when there are children involved and what ever it is i haven't looked into ( and wont be for a while)

animals, like humans, are not perfect. many animals devour one another alive - like humans.
but many do not eat other animals, but sustain themselves on the green herb.
many animals have taken on the traits of humans and therefore are very similar to human behavior- showing such traits as greed, selfishness, rudeness, and homosexuality, to name a few.

many species of animal are very intelligent, such as whales, elephants,crows and many others.

if humans would stop eating them long enough to discover their uniqueness- we could be learning a tremendous amount from the animals creatures.

i do not mess around when i speak of 'the Most High'. God is more real than you and i are right now. what i am trying to impart is the knowledge of something much greater than man.

I know by the proof that is in the written Word of God - the Bible. this book written by 'men of faith' by the power of God, thousands of years before you were ever even thought of.

there is no -'what if' in the Bible. It clearly states that it is an abomination for man to lie with man, as he does with woman. read Leviticus 18:22 and Leviticus 20:30. " and if a man lie with mankind, as with womankind, both of them have committed abomination."

also take serious - God does not change His mind with the changing seasons. what was true 3,000 years ago or a million years ago is .... still true today.

How do you know God's word if it was so very long before our existence that it was in place? What if God's word is that "homos" as you put it are the future of the universe?
