Hi. I'm a multicultural DJ and I throw world music parties in an outdoor park downtown several times a year. It's so much fun watching people from different backgrounds dancing to South African kweito, Japanese hip-hop, Brazilian samba, USA funk, etc etc! My advice to AdamSTL is to find music that you really like and introduce it to people without excuses or explanations. If the beat is contagious, they'll dance to it!
