Years ago I had a good friend S. Aldamar, of Lebanon. He shared with me something that happened to him when he was very young. He told of his village being strafed by an Isreali fighter jet. He said when he looked up he could see the pilot in the plane coming straight at him to kill him. And at that moment he learned what fear really is and from that moment on he learned to hate Israel and it's people who would destroy his village and try to kill him.
When I was young I flew on planes that bombed villages in Viet Nam, Laos, Cambodia and yes , although little known , even parts of China.
I often wondered about who was being killed down there, and now I know , it was some other S. Aldamar, looking up in fear and if he lived , he learned on that day to hate Americans with all that was left within him.
Hamas and other so called Radical Muslim Groups are composed of countles S. Aldamar's, they are those who have lost their families and closest friends. For they have no hope for a better tomorrow in this world. For they have no world , we have taken it from them. And what we view as a violent radical is nothing more than a human trying to survive by fighting for life.
When I refer to Hamas and say " what if they are right " I mean that it is presumptious , and demeaning to the dignity of those who have been forced to endure the condemnation heaped upon them by the West, and by those of the Middle East who lack the courage to stand and fight with their Palestinian brothers.
One must consider that what might be deemed as an insane belief with wanton barbaric behavior is only deemed so by the ruling political power, and as such it is the duty of the said powers to discredit the opposition ( Hamas , Radical Muslims )by any means available. For if the powers that be can continue to foster their lies ,they thereby maintain control of the General Population, then it much easier to murder the innocent in their sleep.
One of the founding principles of Democracy is that the minority has a right to speak out in opposition, no matter if they are right or wrong in their beliefs. Because allthough the majority may disagree , the majority must consider, and compromise ,with the minority to reach a solution for all parties. Therefore when the right to speak, to disagree, or live differentially is taken away , then the seeds of hatred are sown by the majority and the minority is thus forced to respond in the only way available to them.
We might all ( The West and Others )condem Hamas for thier actions, but we must always remember that it is we,The West, who have Fathered of these Children through our own brutality, and we have sent them away to die in the Desert along with their Slave Mother.
So if you still wonder about " what if they are right " means , you need only look into a mirror , for when you do, you will see and finally realize , the true origin of these so called Bastard Children.

Dear Euskalherria thank you very much for sharing with me your insight concerinig the true nature of the Palestinian hatred and rage towards Israel. Yes religion drives their rage and hatred, just as it did in Europe during the Inquistion. I think no one is immune from the insanity of self righteousness that is so prevelent among all so called religious folks.
A good example is how the Israelites treated the indiginous population when the Israelites took the promised land. The Israelites slaughterd men , women, and children, destroyed the villages and all that could be found. And WHY?
IT WAS BY DEVINE GUIDENCE !!!!!
Men will find any excuse to murder , rape and destroy, Hamas is no different neither is Israel, or the rest of the World.

Yes Hamas has it's faults but then so do the Christians and all other religions., and yes the Moslem World does see a different end for humanity. But if you think for a while , what does any religious group offer to it's converts. I think you must agree that although the means may be different and viewed as violent what the Radical Muslim seeks is nothing more than what all religious fanatics have strived to obtain, and that being total domination of the weak in the name of some diety.
So I see no difference between Hamas , the Israelis, the Methodist, Catholics, or so long ago, the Knights Templar.
As to the game plan for global domination by Islam and the " Radical Muslim ", I can only answer by saying " bring it on baby " It's been 40 years since I was in a good fight , and I am ready to take on Jews , Muslims, or whatever idiot gallops up the road proclaiming that he " knows the true way ".
The world would be a safer place without religion and the fanatics who spew their version of what GOD wants. But alas the reality is , they exist and the question is " how will we deal with them "
