Hamas is the hallucination of the Palestinian people. I wish if they had another alternative, but Hamas is nothing more then one of the sad results of this occupation.

Hey Statesman, I agree with you when you say: "I could say, being a black man in America, that all white people are bad for what they did and what some are still doing now, but I know from living in America that that is not true.", but the big different here is only a small Israelis minority who acknowledge the real suffering the Palestinians had, first the colonialism and then the zionist gangs, but the majority want to take more, and more land, and not even want to hear about these Palestinians and better if they are not there.

I have rad a lot of the posts on this site and some things I just don't understand when it comes from the opinions of certain other "posters" on this site. I get the whole "God gave the land to the Israeli's" but what the hell do you do with the Palestinian people? I am totally for removing as best as you possibly can the Hamas terrorist faction, but at what cost?

In this whole urban conflict over there we have Hamas hiding in with regular Palestinians and that is something that I cannot understand how to deal with, realistically. Some people have commented on the lines that all Palestinians are bad people. That all of them are evil. I could say, being a black man in America, that all white people are bad for what they did and what some are still doing now, but I know from living in America that that is not true.

I wonder if it is easier for a person to group everyone together so they do not have to think to deeply on how to resolve a situation like this or are there just some people who are so programmed by religion that the killing of Palestinians who are not involved i.e children, women, elderly and men is okay.

My political science teacher touched on the word socialization and he stated that "socialization is just learned behavior". He told the class that there was a sociologist that theorized that 75% of the world's population are socialized and that they don't even know it. What I don't get is how does the Holy Bible or the Torah justified this type of aggression? I get the whole eye for an eye deal but what about the love your brother as thyself. I know its Old Testament versus New and that some Jewish religious traditionalist hold by this but if this is the case then the Old Testament God is an ass...

Fighting terrorism is one thing that I support but when it involves innocent people in the process, then houston, we have a problem. I just don't see how this military operation is going to help relations in the Middle East region. As I always say, people don't like assholes. When you prohibit international media from entering Gaza, I think your an asshole, when you don't allow enough time to deliver humanitarian aid, your an asshole, when Israeli soldiers fire on UN relief workers and kill them, knowing full well that they are there and what they are there for, your an asshole.

Don't get me wrong, when you hide in a building amongst the normal population to fire off rockets, you are equally an asshole. When you use religion, whether it be the Torah, Koran or the Holy Bible, your an asshole; and this word is an under statement by far. The human mind is interesting though when it comes to justifying unjustifiable acts. A lot of slave owners in America used parts of the Holy Bible to justify slavery and had the nerve to go to church on sunday and pray for repentance.

I would have to say in this conflict that diplomatically you can't use religion in terms of why you should be on a piece of land, but on the flip side both Israel and Muslims do. I would prefer an open boundary of all people over there to worship at their respective places of worship but then you will ahev some right-wing individual or group scream damn near bloddy murder because they feel that what would be taking place is an abomination and/or blasphemy. You would think that over the years both sides would get tired or warring between one another.

It will be coming from International waters,into Palestinian/Gazan waters,which ARE OCCUPIED BY Israeli forces.
Let's pray that the Israelis are NOT SO STUPID/LUNATIC as to fire on this ship which would be A BLATANT ACT OF WAR against a Sovereign Nations NON-MILITARY,CIVILIAN-ONLY ship.
Israel is standing VERY WEAK,LONELY and UNTRUSTED in the world right now,and walking a moral,ethical,legal TIGHTROPE in GLOBAL EYES.
I don't expect much humanity and sanity from Israel after the last sixty+ years,but never lose hope that Israel will salvage SOME humanity toward the world and all its equals,because it is no better than ANYONE ELSE,in fact has PROVEN it can be MUCH WORSE than other nations.

The terrorists should be called "pigs." Both the Jews and the islamics consider pigs to be "unclean" animals.

The terrorists set off their suicide bombs among innocent civilians, the act of an unclean animal no matter if you believe in the Torah or the koran.

The terrorists shoot missiles at civilians; supposedly the koran forbids killing of innocents but the unclean animals who shoot them want to die as "martyrs" and get the privilege of being serviced by 72 virgins when they get to heaven. They will get to heaven long enough for judgment and then permanence in hell.

The work "pig" to describe terrorists is used deliberately as they are the most unclean animals on the earth.
