(May 14, 2007) Segment 1: Immigration is a big issue nowadays in the US. It is subject that usually grabs headlines on both sides of the isle as we approach the election cycle. This year is now exception. We will see why President Bush calls illegal immigrants "criminals", and what is being proposed to stem the flow of undocumented aliens across the border. We will also explore this subject from a Latin American perspective. Are illegal immigrants an export commodity that in turn generate billions of dollars in remittances for their mother countries, or are they really economic of political refugees in search of a better life for their families?
