IRIB 2

Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB 2 ) is a state run satellite channel originating from Tehran, Iran. Programming is a mix of Iranian films, documentaries, current affairs, religious and educational programs. News programs are also presented in Farsi or English. The newscasts include national and international stories, Mid-East regional highlights and business reports focusing on the Gulf States and the petroleum industry.

IRIB has branches in 17 countries, including the United States, and broadcasts in more than 25 languages.  The network broadcasts four national channels, one international news channel, three satellite channels for international viewers, and one provincial channel per province. The IRIB provides eight major radio stations as well.

Al-Alam News Network is a Tehran-based Arabic-language news channel. Established in 2003 by the Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting, the network aims at addressing the most challenging issues of the Muslim and Arab world and the Middle East.
 
The network's political coverage tends to be most popular; however commentaries, analysis, business and sports also get a share of the audience. Programs are broadcasted for over 200 million Arabic-speaking people around the world, with large audiences in the Persian Gulf and Mediterranean regions. The satellite channel can be received in five continents. Al-Alam has news bureaus in Tehran, Beirut and Baghdad.

IRINN

IRINN stands for the Islamic Republic of Iran News Network. It is a full news channel running as part of IRIB. Its headquarters are in the Jame Jam Park. IRINN’s main programs are political, but sports and medical news programs are also presented. It broadcasts mainly in Persian but there are special programs in English and Arabic.
