Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB 2 ) is a state run satellite channel originating from Tehran, Iran. Programming is a mix of Iranian films, documentaries, current affairs, religious and educational programs. News programs are also presented in Farsi or English. The newscasts include national and international stories, Mid-East regional highlights and business reports focusing on the Gulf States and the petroleum industry.

IRINN stands for the Islamic Republic of Iran News Network. It is a full news channel running as part of IRIB. Its headquarters are in the Jame Jam Park. IRINN’s main programs are political, but sports and medical news programs are also presented. It broadcasts mainly in Persian but there are special programs in English and Arabic.
